Smart contracts need truth.
But who decides what’s true on-chain?
Not humans.
Not a single oracle. GenLayer built something different.
It’s called Optimistic Democracy.
- The problem first?
Traditional smart contracts are blind.
They can’t read the web, interpret news, or handle anything subjective.
So they rely on oracles,, middlementhat feed them data.
But oracles = a single point of trust.

Instead of one oracle, GenLayer runs multiple AI vvalidators, each powered by a different LLM.

GenLayer’s validators independently fetch live weather data, cross-check it, reach agreement, and the payout triggers automatically.
