in 2018 i fell into the "i'm waiting for lower" trap and ended up chasing much, much higher. here's what happened: refused to buy until price hit my exact perfect bottom target. target got front run. price ranged, chopped, lulled me to sleep. "this is a bearish retest, shorts reloading, new lows are coming, there's no real demand" price went up more. "i'll buy the pullback." pullback never went as low as i wanted. bought much higher, pissed off that i got psyop'd so bad. could we see -30% from here? yes. no guarantees either way. if your target is much higher 24 months out, trying to snipe the pico bottom is a good way to miss the train.
