Sheffield Steelers have two players named in the Great Britain squad for the 2026 IIHF World Championships in May Robert Dowd & Cole Shudra are in the 25-man squad, along with Maltby’s Liam Kirk GB will face Canada, Sweden, Czechia, Denmark, Slovakia, Norway, Slovenia & Italy

@steelthepuck They have a good coach and always find good players .... Oh and They always seem to find a way to improve their squad without breaking any of the rules put in place regarding signings..

It’s getting a bit boring now with Belfast winning the league, season after season. It was a breath of fresh air in 2019. Now it’s just dull. 19, 22, 23, 25 and 26 pending. There time will come to be rotting mid table. And we WILL all be there 😊

@steelthepuck Said it at the start of the season.lacking goals across the lines. Too many passengers..lack of back checking from forwards who seem lazy and uninterested. No ideas on the PP. Lots of passing with very little end product. Oh and why bench Brits who are playing well.

@steelershockey Thought that was a good goal..panthers player fell,toe pick, and while sliding swung at by the puck with his stick knocking it forwards and under McAdam..only thing was did it cross the line before it after the goal came off ..
