@tdot28 @MusialaEra Then you're gonna be very disappointed, cause not only is another domestic treble almost Guranteed, there's an extremely high chance they win the UCL too

Bayern already wanted to take legal action against Canada when Davies tore his ACL last year. Pretty sure Bayern are threatening them again. A Bayern doc is with the Canadian NT so there‘s first hand evidence that Davies isn‘t fully fit. Canada would lose the legal war

@MusialaEra Pissed at Canada Soccer because they can’t figure out how to rehab a soft tissue injury. Embarrassing

@Softykjr Killed the vibe for the USMNT. Not nearly as loud as it should have been and Canadian flags in the background

The amount of Blue Jays fans in that stadium will never not disgust me. But the fact that it doesn't disgust mariner ownership is even more disgusting to be honest It's 100% embarrassing

@rdwesq Yea man, I’m not going to convince. After Canada’s biggest wins and before their biggest games, American media continues to ask him questions about the US and USMNT and then tells themselves Marsch is always thinking about them. I’m sure it’s annoying and they get their reactions

@dlbno @Mike_Young85 @AnthonyDabbundo From what I understand, the interviewer is someone who has known him for a long time and the interview has been described as "lighthearted." Time is not a sports publication. There is nothing to suggest that this question is loaded at all

@dlbno @Mike_Young85 @AnthonyDabbundo That's a fair response from him, I'm not sure why he should care. But that also has nothing to do with him bringing up the topic unprompted (again) in a completely separate interview

@dlbno @Mike_Young85 @AnthonyDabbundo This answer was not given in response to a question about the USMNT. He's the one who continually brings it up unprompted. He is Michael Ginsberg and the US soccer public is Don Draper

@Mike_Young85 @AnthonyDabbundo You can keep telling yourself that but after Canada wins American journos are coming in and asking him dumb questions about the USMNT. But your narrative is already set so…

@calli_ry The American football example is different. Getting two feet down in bounds is the rule because that’s what they feel should be considered a catch. So not getting the 2nd foot in bounds and causing it to be incomplete is the point of that rule.

@ColeTrickle2211 @nickysmokess That’s what I say every time my favourite football team catches a big TD but the receivers toe is out of bounds. So idiotic. Just call it a TD

I think the US should and will be a small favorite over Belgium if they play them (famous last words), but it’s certainly the toughest possible matchup for them in the R16 and Belgium has the best player on the field with Doku

@Pagmenzies @__LFF__ Most, maybe all pro leagues in North America require teams to report their injured players during the season or before games. Betting is the single biggest reason for it.

I suspect in other countries, the head men’s football coach lying about the status of a key player (Marsch said Davies was available vs Swiss then admitted he never was) would cause a major controversy. It also affects betting odds (a reality) & raises questions of sportsmanship.
Matthew Scianitti@TSNScianitti

Marsch admits to using Alphonso Davies as a "decoy." Says now Davies was never going to play. Marsch says Davies will be ready for the Rd of 32. Says his decoy worked because Switzerland spoke about Davies during their media availability @TSN_Sports #CanMNT
