We’re focused every day on making it easier for folks to get by, which is why we’ve cut taxes seven times in my first term. Here in Pennsylvania, we’re taking a GSD approach to putting money back in your pockets and fighting for working families to be able to get ahead.

@BreeSolstad He is because the faith calls him to that. Doesn't mean he doesn't prioritize in only one direction. It's not all that far off to call him from the left.

Meg is my favorite Protestant, but she’s way off on this. Her claim: The pope is “obviously a lefty.” The reality: The pope is… -Pro life -Anti-Trans ideology -Anti-communist -Anti-gay marriage -Anti-Euthanasia -Anti-IVF -Anti-birth control -Anti-porn The man is more conservative than 99% of MAGA.
Megan Basham@megbasham

So maybe I don’t get this because I’m not Catholic, but even if I believed this story, the pope is obviously a lefty. He blessed a piece of ice in honor of climate change for Pete’s sake. I don’t get why the Trump Admin would want him at any events.

In @nfldraftscout most latest article he states that the #Steelers could pass on a QB in the draft. That the Steelers won’t be “forced” to take a QB this year. Will Howard could get his shot if Rodgers decides to retire. 👀

@donboscomd @Drobcio320 @jzipple I love how vague you are with the specifics you have issue with. Almost like you’re not actually familiar with those teachings.

The Pope is not "woke" so much as US evangelicalism has been veering deeper into heresy for quite some time now & dragging too many Catholics along with it. And the Church is finally saying enough is enough.
Scott Barber@thescottbarber

The Pope is not “woke.” What you’re witnessing is a millennia of Catholic social teaching developed over countless encyclicals and the lifework of a vast cloud of witnesses to the love of Christ towards the whole world.

Christians around the world are being slaughtered for their faith. Nigeria. Pakistan. Syria. Sudan. Iran. The Congo. Myanmar. Bangladesh. Libya. Burkina Faso. Somalia. Yemen. Afghanistan. Europe. England. America. And all at the hands of Islamic extremism. This is genocide.

Minutes after the announcement, sirens sounded across northern Israel. Hezbollah launching rockets over the border. The direct negotiations will create a shared goal for Israel and the Lebanese government to disarm Iran’s largest proxy in the region.

NEW: Israel has agreed to direct talks with Lebanon that will focus on disarming Hezbollah, and establishing "peaceful relations" between the two countries.

1. It was donated steel -- free of charge. 2. Who got the US Steel/Nippon deal done? Sure as hell wasn't you. 3. Go back to being Governor. This daily Presidential campaign by you is unfair to Pennsylvanians.
Governor Josh Shapiro@GovernorShapiro

President Trump’s use of foreign steel at the White House is a slap in the face to American steelmaking and the workers right here in Pennsylvania who power the industry. And he’s doing it as his tariffs are screwing over workers and driving up costs. The President should be putting American steel first.

@BakedGoodsYYC @Drobcio320 @jzipple Catholic social teaching is good. Promoting only certain elements of it or applying it differently to different groups of people based on politics is not.

Christopher Hale has been an anti-Trump op from the start. "The documents, provided to the attorney general by Washington D.C. attorney James Joseph with the law firm Arnold & Porter, claim that Hale used an email list from a defunct nonprofit organization he had previously worked for in order to solicit funds from former donors." "According to the documents, the fundraising requests made it seem like the money was for a new nonprofit called the Francis Project, with a mission to politically engage progressive Catholics, when instead the funds went to a for-profit company registered in Hale’s name." "Hale’s emails used Catholic imagery, including pictures of Pope Francis, and asked for funds to help support activist causes and messaging to push back against the agenda of President Donald Trump. Joseph’s letter to the attorney general details how Hale was told not to use the email list, and how he continued to do so. The letter also contained the business registration documents, showing Hale created the Francis Project as a for-profit company and not a nonprofit."

@donboscomd @Drobcio320 @jzipple It does. Papal supremacy is literally church doctrine. If you’re a catholic then the pope is infallible. You can’t be a catholic and reject the pope’s teachings, that would make you a heretic not a catholic.

Hale was literally hired to run the group the Podestas formed to color-revolution the Church back when Obama was phoning the US bishops and demanding they "find a way to comply" with his immoral directives. Hale conspired against the Church and can't be trusted.

NEW: A stunning new report claims that the Pentagon summoned Pope Leo XIV’s top American diplomat and threatened him after the U.S.-born pontiff gave his January state-of-the-world address. Leo used the address to denounce a world ruled by “a diplomacy based on force” and “zeal for war.” thelettersfromleo.com/p/the-pentagon…

@Jacobhornbeck30 @22pace_prosser @ThePortalReport @VerbalCommitsD2 There's nothing wrong with wanting to play basketball at a higher level. But that's a straw man. It's not incompatible with people asking honest questions of...to what end? If he was going pro, sure take every chance you got. But he's not that type of player.
