@levelsio How do you solve travel? I’ve been travelling for several weeks now, staying at good hotels. Not a single one had a barbell. Dumbbells yes, but typically 20-25kg max. Some had kettlebells, but again, too light.

Gym machines are generally quite bad for you They train your muscles but in a very isolated way You need full body workouts like barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, etc. Not machines Machines can be helpful in physiotherapy for rehabilitation, not for serious workouts if you want functional whole body strength I think

@levelsio My Uber crashed into a taxi driver and they got into a fight. This was in Europe.

I will pay extra to NOT have a human driver I've experienced too much shit with Uber and taxi drivers: - Amsterdam taxi driver drove into me after I didn't tip him - Uber driver came back 5min after I complained about him in the Uber app to punch/fight me but got stopped by the Crossfit gym ppl (thx!) - had multiple Uber drivers now who were visibly on drugs Some drivers you meet are great though but the avg quality now is very low because Uber is pushing prices down and it's hard to make a living for drivers So the good drivers leave and go do something else and the bottom of the barrel stays And yes I take Uber Premium always and Black when available, no difference, also Uber Lux doesn't exist Most my bad experiences with Uber/taxis were in Europe In US it's way better (on avg)

I normally wouldn't but keeping my money invested @ 10.5%/y avg in S&P500 While taking a 2-4%/y mortgage in Europe The diff is essentially profit (not without risk ofc) I already getting angry dealing with 🦖 dinosaur banks again Asked Revolut and Wise if they offered mortgages but not yet I believe? Would love a fintech mortgage

Wtf @albertheijn wat is dit voor onzin. Ik wil dit niet, maar nu kan ik geen boodschappen meer bestellen (ophalen). Wat een kolder, doe er iets aan of ik kom niet meer. Ik betaal gewoon met mijn bankpas als ik het af kom halen. En ik bepaal zelf met welke bankpas ik betaal. Dus deze digitale pas is onnodig.
