@paulg @dvassallo a lot of smart people with a lot of money should be able to fix the poop problem. It's interesting and weird that they haven't done it yet.

@dvassallo It's certainly desirable to live in a nice place. In fact that's a tautology. But it isn't specifically *ambitious*. Ambition often requires tradeoffs in other departments. If you're not making any, you're probably not ambitious.

@scarletinked @dvassallo yeah. some people prefer to fight one horse-sized duck, while others want to fight 100 duck-sized horses.

@dvassallo Yes, choosing between 10 customers paying $15k each a year, or 1,500 customers paying $100 a year, I'd always want to choose the 1500 customers. Such a different retention challenge.

I honestly don’t mind this. I’d rather have to deal with the occasional lunatic $36 customer than having to schmooze enterprise customers on zoom every single day.

@polisisti @gilbert this is interesting. why did they change it from cmd+k? if they were going to keep a shortcut... why not keep the same shortcut?

@ericladler @gilbert This is correct, but there is also a shortcut. It's cmd+shift+U

There was once a PM at Slack who decided Cmd+K should not be the keyboard shortcut for hyperlinks. I would like to know this person's name and phone number.

@biglawgothgf lol at this guy's "not larva labs" branding. Not an ounce of originality. In a funny coincidence, I've represented the real larva labs in IP matters. And i've done photoshoots for Matt and John!

Oh my bad, I forgot that hiring IP lawyers gives you the right to police what other IP lawyers do in their spare time. And that you relinquish your law license when you step in front of a camera. Crazy how that works!

if you log out of twitter, and click a link through to someone's twitter timeline, it will show their tweets sorted by number of likes. Not sure if this is a bug, but I like it.

@paulg wikipedia measures "notability" by number of third party articles written about the person. You need to submit the links to the articles about her. It's not a perfect system, but it is a system.

Invented the accelerator. Probably the most successful female investor in Silicon Valley history. Wrote one of the best books about startups. But notable? Well, Wikipedia isn't so sure.
