@_sabanaqvi It looks like Arundhati is the one gazing lecherously at the old banian wearing man. Rest of the men around seem to be just shocked.

This picture that Raghu Rai took of Arundhati Roy somewhere in Delhi is a masterpiece that captures what I would call “the male gaze”.

@sabeer Mumbai bomb blasts happened in 1993. I was alive then. Mumbai 2611 happened in 2008. I was alive then. Countless train, bus etc blasts happened between these. I was alive then. The future belongs to individuals who remember history and learn from it.

Partition happened in 1947. I wasn’t alive then - and neither were most of us. Carrying forward inherited hatred between nations, for events we didn’t cause, is childish. The future belongs to individuals who choose understanding over division.

@omkar1419 @screwgauge77 No team fears Shahrukh Khan when he enters with 10 balls to spare. There have been many finishers like Rinku Singh, Dube, Shashank Singh etc. who started with that role description but have now established themselves as a feared middle order batsmen. Dube may be out of form now.

It's not like that I know he has under performed for many years. But the Role he plays and the role he has been identified to play is a very difficult role to perform and have success. His entry point in the game has to be proper and there must be confidence showed in him. On an average he gets 10 balls to play as per his role there will be more failures than success in that role. Also tell from all teams who is that one finisher that has performed consistently in this role.

Rich influencers in India often pretend to be 'middle class' to sound relatable! They frequently share sob stories (most of which are fabricated) of 'humble beginnings' to appeal to the masses. Comedian Vir Das has recently claimed that he came to Mumbai with 'very little' and made it big in life. Wow, a beautiful story of introspection! For those who don't know, Vir Das is the grandson of India's first ambassador to Bhutan. Brajbir Saran Das was a politician, diplomat and an IPS officer. He served in top positions at Air India and the Airport Authority of India. His grandson Vir Das went to 'The Lawrence School in Sonawar', where the annual fees are over ₹10 lakhs (as of 2026). This comedian went to the United States for his bachelor's degree in the 2000s. Of course, he had 'very little' when he came to Mumbai. Vir Das once did a comedy special about '2 Indias.' I come from the other India. My grandfather fled East Pakistan to escape religious persecution during Partition and lived as a refugee in India. After losing centuries of generational wealth overnight, my family worked tremendously hard to go from a refugee rehabilitation camp to having our own house. The upbringing I received was starkly different from my grandfather's lived reality. I was privileged to study at an English-medium convent school, pursue higher education at DU without taking an educational loan or worry about living costs in Delhi. This is a privilege which is still not available to millions of young men and women in this country. I understand this perspective and so have never claimed to have 'very little' of anything. Do you think a socially aware comedian like Vir Das doesn't understand this? He does and still tells you sob stories of his 'humble beginning' at Bandra studio apartment. But he isn't the first one. I have seen one of my favourite YouTubers, Ranveer Allahbadia (who went to Dhirubhai Ambani school), talk deeply about his 'struggles'. We have all watched the infamous interview of Ananya Pandey deliberating about her 'struggles' in the film industry. I know some people would now tell me that everyone has their own set of challenges, despite a privileged background. And I totally agree with it. But the upfront disclosure of privilege is important. In the absence of that, you are trying to convince the masses that you are one of them. You are not.

TCS Case: Was Nida Khan really a process associate and not HR? What's with 78 emails: In BPO and ITES companies, process associates in the HR department do most of the ground-level work. They are the ones who keep everything running daily. While HR managers make plans and policies, process associates actually carry out the work. Their responsibilities include: 1. They check documents, verify IDs, handle background checks, and make sure new employees sign all required forms like NDAs and company policies. 2. They update and maintain employee records in the HR system. 3. They are usually the first people employees reach out to when they have a problem. They record the complaint and pass it on to the concerned manager or the POSH committee. In the TCS Nashik case, Nida Khan received 78 emails related to harassment complaints. Now, investigators are trying to understand why no action was taken despite so many complaints.

We have heard you. Clearly and openly. Over the past few days, our community and customers have spoken - and we have listened. Today, we are standardizing our In-Store Style Guide and sharing it publicly and transparently: lenskart.com/style-guide-le… These guidelines explicitly and unambiguously welcome every symbol of faith and culture our team members carry - bindi, tilak, sindoor, kalawa, mangalsutra, kada, hijab, turban, and more. Not as exceptions. As who we are. Lenskart was built in Bharat, by Indians, for Indians. Our 2400+ stores are run by people who bring their beliefs, their traditions, their identity to work every day. That is not something we will ever ask anyone to leave at the door. If any version of our workplace communication caused hurt or made any of our team members feel that their faith was unwelcome here, we are deeply sorry. That is not who Lenskart is, and it is not who we will ever be. We make a commitment today - not just in words, but in the document we are publishing - that every policy, every training material, and every communication that carries the Lenskart name will reflect these values. We remain committed to applying these guidelines fairly and consistently, and will continue to review and improve our processes. We will do better. And we will keep earning your trust. 🙏 -Team Lenskart

@RanaAyyub If Nida Khan was at home all the while, why did it take her 6 days to surface? She was in the news all of those 6 days and even a blind woman would have tried to clear up her name. Had she applied for leave from TCS? Can the leave request be shared? #tcs

Oumair Aejaz from Bengaluru didn't feel safe in India. So he moved to the US where he worked as a doctor with various institutions. He felt safe there. So he started doing what his brothers all over the world do, started filming and sexually assaulting patients as young as two years old. YES TWO YEARS! Only ONE of the many hard drives found had over 13000 videos. He only recorded kafir women. He is a good man. Because he is jailed Arfa cannot breathe in India.

I have irrefutable proof that @Lenskart_com CEO @peyushbansal is LYING when he says that the grooming code that says NO Bindi is ‘outdated’. I have proof of a video audit with the date 08/04/2026 where an employee was given a low rating for wearing a bindi. Will share in due course. Happy to share everything with a good lawyer. Lenskart is a publicly listed company that has to follow @SEBI_India guidelines, not Bansal’s private enterprise and they are violating article 15 of the Indian constitution. Wow, thin skinned politicians afraid of criticism like @MahuaMoitra @ShashiTharoor and @sagarikaghose have blocked me before, but this is the first time, @Lenskart_com, a publicly listed company has blocked me, and yes, I have been a paying customer several times in the past. Well done @peyushbansal. Clearly shows your company has something to hide when the official handle starts blocking ordinary citizens for merely questioning policy that is in public domain! I take it as a badge of honour though :)

So in the case of 350 videos of 180 girls - the 8 girls who came forward to lodge a complaint are *Muslim* according to 👇🏼 Just checking if the outrage would still continue to demand justice for safety for the girls.

In the TCS Nashik BPO case investigation has some startling revelations and could widen the scope of investigation. The number of victims has moved up from 9 to 12 (9 firs the other 3 have given their statements but not formally complained). Can’t imagine that the company was oblivious to role of the HR Manager who is now absconding share.google/hioDeJlIGOhnfu…

@ShefVaidya I was the manager of a flagship store in Pune. At Lenskart, third-party audits are conducted to check grooming standards. In October 2024, my store lost points specifically because we were wearing *kalwas* (sacred threads); the audit was conducted by a person named Ayush Verma.
