My friend Milla Jovovich and I spent months creating an AI memory system with Claude. It just posted a perfect score on the standard benchmark - beating every product in the space, free or paid.
It's called MemPalace, and it works nothing like anything else out there.
Instead of sending your data to a background agent in the cloud, it mines your conversations locally and organizes them into a palace - a structured architecture with wings, halls, and rooms that mirrors how human memory actually works.
Here is what that gets you:
→ Your AI knows who you are before you type a single word - family, projects, preferences, loaded in ~120 tokens
→ Palace architecture organizes memories by domain and type - not a flat list of facts, a navigable structure
→ Semantic search across months of conversations finds the answer in position 1 or 2
→ AAAK compression fits your entire life context into 120 tokens - 30x lossless compression any LLM reads natively
→ Contradiction detection catches wrong names, wrong pronouns, wrong ages before you ever see them
The benchmarks:
100% recall on LongMemEval — first perfect score ever recorded. 500/500 questions. Every question type at 100%.
92.9% on ConvoMem — more than 2x Mem0's score.
100% on LoCoMo — every multi-hop reasoning category, including temporal inference which stumps most systems.
No API key. No cloud. No subscription. One dependency. Runs on your machine. Your memories never leave.

I’d seen plenty of older posts about how painful it was to renew a Sri Lankan passport - massive queues, confusion, and hours of waiting - but I hadn’t seen a recent post that properly broke down what the experience is like now.
So for anyone planning to do the one day passport renewal, here’s exactly how my morning went:
6:30am – Queued outside the one-day passport line
6:37am – Inside the building and seated. Around 150–200 people ahead of me, with about 100 behind
6:41am – First few rows started moving
6:45am – Our row moved, then everyone was sent to another building
6:49am – Joined the long queue into the Department of Immigration and Emigration building
7:10am – Inside. Documents checked and stapled, then queued again to go upstairs
7:17am – Upstairs
7:21am – Got token 309. They were calling numbers around 66–81
7:40am – 100s started going in
8:00am – 200s started going in
9:00am – 300s started going in
9:03am – Headed to Block D
9:05am – In Block D, ticket number 280 was being processed
9:20am – My turn
9:22am – Fingerprints done
9:29am – Payment done
Then collection was later from 1st Floor, Block C, before 5pm. I picked mine up at around 4pm.
Not exactly fun, but honestly more manageable than I expected.

I asked it to do the classic pelican on a bicycle drawing on photoshop 😂
at least it's self critical 💀
"It's giving "toddler with a Wacom tablet" energy, but the pelican is technically on the bicycle."
