Paper just helped @stripe explore visuals for their annual letter launch. We used image tools, filters, and the new Halftone CMYK shader. Stripe is how Paper is available around the world. Glad we could bring this story to life for them.

i'm using @paper lately to quickly wireframe some designs that i want to code. it's been very helpful so far. paper+claude code is a good combo.

Every empty state, secondary state, and error state imported into an editable canvas automatically. We don't have to map this stuff out manually anymore. Just ask for it, iterate on it, done. I was initially a bit negative on Paper, but this is a game changing workflow!

Tried out @paper - It's like Figma. It has an MCP so you can connect it to an Agent and it can both push and pull design details and data in/out of it. Makes a ton of sense when your design app can pull real data from your database, or act on a ticket. It seems like it's built with HTML/CSS, so the heavy use of flex/grid to align stuff makes it easier to implement a design for the web. For some reason I thought it had some secret sauce that made your designs good though. You still need talent for that

i open claude code & @paper with @WisprFlow ready to capture instructions my canvas shows 23 cursors, one of them mine, but the rectangles rearrange themselves while i reach for diet coke. when ai suggestions land with twinkling blue pixels, my contribution is reduced to “approve” or “iterate” or *emotional reaction* does the ‘designer’ become a thermostat; nudging taste up or down a degree, while the climate system drafts the seasons? post-authorship means the artifact is a habitat, grown by swarm instinct rather than singular vision. credit is a coin too heavy to lift; we trade in lighter currencies: connection, latency, likes, virality. post-authorship isn’t the death of the designer; it’s retiring into a distributed nervous system, finding joy in watching others pick up the thread, knowing the fabric will outgrow any single hand that wove it.
