Yall make me sick, The absence of protestors doesn’t prove the absence of support. Not everyone expresses solidarity by standing outside a courthouse. Some people advocate through conversations, donations, legal reform efforts, prayer, or simply by questioning whether justice was applied fairly. People can mourn Austin Metcalf’s death while also believing Karmelo Anthony’s case deserved deeper consideration. Those two things are not mutually exclusive. Reducing a complex case to “no one showed up, so no one cared” ignores the many people who have followed this case closely and have genuine concerns about how self-defense claims, media narratives, and racial dynamics are perceived in our justice system.

🚨 NOW: The Collin County courthouse where Karmelo Anthony was convicted yesterday is COMPLETELY DEVOID of protestors Their lies and propaganda did NOT work Not a SINGLE supporter showed up today for Karmelo, who’s locked in the jail in this very parking lot The only ones here now are media outlets and people conducting real business at the courthouse.

@Holiistically @KempPhone No, they don't. If black people stopped killing black people, we'd have virtually no murder in the country.

She killed two boys with intent. Got 15 years. This is what we mean when we say America has a different legal system for black people

@Eliwritesonline @Wraithverg @ANTHONYBLOGAN Your position is so indefensible it makes you look so stupid. Are you really that stupid? It's your space and someone is invading it. You ask them to leave. If they don't it's trespassing. It's not criminal trespassing but it's trespassing.

@hex7bb @Wraithverg @ANTHONYBLOGAN My table as in I own it or my table as in I am using it. Two different things. If I am at a restaurant, I will get a worker or a manager to remove him. I wouldn’t put hands on him. He could have weapons or the situation can escalate to violence otherwise. Again, learn to think.

The Karmelo Anthony verdict of guilty in his murder case was a gross miscarriage of justice. Even if you don't agree with what Karmelo did, it does not reach to the level of murder under the law.

A man refusing condoms is "a preference" but a women refusing pregnancy is "murder". That isn't morality, it's misogyny.

In Texas you have 30 days to file a motion for an appeal from the time you're convicted. I expect the Karmelo Anthony will do so and seek new and better representation.

@Eliwritesonline @Wraithverg @ANTHONYBLOGAN You don't need to be any of those things to tell someone to get out of your space. Again, think about someone coming up to your table with your family at a restaurant and sitting down uninvited. Would you tell them to leave? You're not owner. Not an authority. Just dumb.

@hex7bb @Wraithverg @ANTHONYBLOGAN Austin Metcalf wasn’t his boss, his teacher, his coach, or security. He had no authority to order him around. He didn’t own the tent. There was no “trespassing”. You people will believe anything and not even test your ideas logically to see if your arguments make sense.

“You want me to sit down? It’s not 1920 anymore.” “You can’t oppress me anymore.” Families behind her asked for one thing: sit down so they could watch their kids graduate. Somehow, basic courtesy got rebranded as oppression.

@Draven_X_23 It wasn't illegal, but even if it was, it has nothing to do with anything. Legal self defense would still be legal self defense. Murder would still be murder. It's a silly thing to focus on. He wasn't charged for having the knife because it wasn't illegal.

@hex7bb The whole case matters. Is the end result the most important? Yes. But how it got there is important too. Like the fact the weapon is illegal on school grounds.

First off, according Texas law the knife he carried was legal. MOST Ppl in Texas carry weapons as far as pocket knives and even guns. He had every right to carry a pocket knife in his bag if he so chose. Secondly, The tent was a PUBLIC tent. And he was invited to come under the tent by someone else due to the weather. Thirdly, he was bothered and physically assaulted unprovoked by TWO boys that were well over his size. Lastly, please go to hell thinking that boy did anything other than defend himself and he deserves 35 fucking years.

@ksdotlewis Yall gotta look at this differently 1st off why was he carrying a knife at a track meet? If yall played high school sports then you know how territorial athletes are. Get out them people tent. Somebody died over a fistfight and the other about to do at least 18 years smh

@_ReeMiddleChild So you're saying a black juror would have found him not guilty even though he obviously was because of skin color? Y'all shouldn't be on juries.

Having no black people on the jury means Karmelo was not judged by a jury of his peers. Idc if there were some Asians & others there. There were no black people and thats what makes it wrong.

@Draven_X_23 The knife was legal to carry which is why he wasn't charged for that. It's against school rules. But none of that matters. It's what he chose to do with it that's the problem.

First of all: Wrong. It is not legal to have a knife on school property. 2nd: Wrong. It was a team tent at a School Track meet. Aka a school function. Which is open to the public unless otherwise stated. Such as being suspended for carrying a knife to school. 3rd: Wrong. Testimony from both prosecution and defense said he was never attacked and was the aggressor. Especially bad for someone who is Trespassing. Lastly: You're an idiot. Did not even pay attention to anything from the court case. Bet you got your bullet points from an idiot on TikTok who made shit up.

@ksdotlewis The knife being legal to carry doesn't matter one bit. It was not a public tent. It was Memorial tent, and once he was asked to leave he was trespassing. It's the same as if some stranger sat at your table with you and your family at a restaurant. You can make them leave.

@AngryFeralKitty @ClaireFosterPHD Karmelo was afforded stand your ground protections. The jury was instructed that he had no duty to retreat and they couldn't take his failure to do so into consideration. The problem was he had no legit self defense claim.

@ClaireFosterPHD Probably because he failed to meet a single criteria of the Texas stand your ground self defense law. He was the aggressor, his life was never at risk, and he was committing a felony by having a knife on school property. He met zero criteria

If Karmelo Anthony was white, and the victim was black..... MAGA would call it a kangaroo court and call on Trump to give Karmelo a pardon. He would be speaking at the next RNC, and would be treated as a hero.

Karmelo's first stop will be the RC (reception center) where staff evaluate the individual's criminal, medical, and psychological histories, and administer educational and risk-level testing (like reading and behavioral assessments) . Then classification and lastly orientation. In Ca it takes 60-90 days depending on your history. More than likely he will be turned loose in PC (protective custody) because the ABT and the MM will be a security threat

Karmelo Anthony has been put in isolation aka Solitary confinement. Why? Because although black gang members may end up viewing him a hero, white gangs won't, not to mention the garden variety whackadoodles who only seeks the fame of killing him for their own notoriety. He is in county right now pending his prison transfer. I have no doubt they may need to put him in Solitary for his own protection in prison too, at least for a time. He shouldn't have murdered Austin at that track meet. #AustinMetcalf #Karmelo
