today at the @ycombinator startup school, saw very few women.
I get that most folks there were college and high school students, but I really want to see more girls/women in these rooms. even on my feed, in replies, just more of us showing up, speaking up.
What is holding you back?

The main security at the gate don't actually scan the qr, they just see if u have a qr,
Get one of your friends to send a legitimate seeming email with some dumb qr and get in and just directly come to the event hall, not the check in center

We had room for 2,000 people at Startup School India. More than 25,000 applied. No Startup School anywhere in the world has ever had this many people apply. Not SF, not NYC, not London. India blew them all away.

unpopular opinion: hackathons are extremely boring.
that's why we made one that isn't.
