Telstra 3G has committed that no area will be worse off when 3G switches off on 31/8/24. But many are saying 3G has rapidly deteriorated recently, making that promise easier to deliver? Are there more black spots than before? What is the experience at your place?

Giving pastoralists no choice in whether they want a project on their land - some of which has been held by their families for generations & giving ultimate power to the Minister to grant release areas & access? No thanks.

Good. This legislation allows for big business & government to access & seize pastoral lands with the bare minimum of compensation & no way to object to projects.

Neighbours stopped harvesting by “feel” we stopped & measured the gfdi at 32 and rising. Beware if you read wind speed at 2m and don’t multiply it by 1.25 then you’ll get a false low gfdi

@pearse_kyle About 10yrs ago I got several different historic wheats dating back to federation and sowed them in one trial - 4 sites. One of the most interesting things I’ve done in my career. Ps pump the fungicide 😉

I’m not aware of a fire started by farmer harvesting outside code. If you open up your mind too much your brains start to fall out

@andrewpolk7 @GrockeAaron It’s a daily occurrence! Even worse at night as the street lights are still not working despite months of calls to have them fixed. Plenty of passing the buck and no one wants to address the problem.

Hi @Telstra Any chance you could improve your network coverage in line with CPI?? Service and network quality are inversely proportional to your fee increases. Which is probably understating how useless your network is at present.

@Telstra Hi Anto from Telstra See below from our conversation in July last year. “Doesn’t mean an increase will occur every year….” I guess this was a false promise? June 2022 my plan was $45, it will be $62 after the next change, how does this align with CPI data? Thanks

Hi Jared, sorry to hear you're suffering from poor reception/signal strength/usefulness of our network (which by the way is AUS largest & we have awesome fast 5G in selected areas). I've checked your location & it seems fine, have you tried logging a fault on our app? Or maybe turn your phone off and on again. If that doesn't work, pop into your local Telstra shop and chat to one of out friendly staff.

@Telstra Hi Greg It’s nice to see you paid attention during training about how to provide generic responses to your customers. Perhaps instead of this, you could reduce the fees associated with my account in line with the reduction in service your network provides. Thanks

@Telstra @gregmoroney15 Do they honestly think sending an DM achieves anything?? Generic responses and no solutions. Our phones will be useless once 3G is disabled, reception is worse than its ever been here.

An admission from @Telstra that their service is deteriorating. We only get 3G (sometimes). Have you tried turning your network off and back on again so we get the best call coverage available? Oh wait, you did that last week and it's not any better...
