@HoolyMcg @HallRaelene As I was told right from the start. To be in control, you must NEVER let the trailers be pushing you in a corner. You must have slowed down and then apply power as you drive through the corner and Pull the trailers, don’t let the trailers push you. You’re in control then.

After following a roadtrain (grain) yesterday being driven by a foreigner. I can see how and why they tip them over all the time. Every single corner,they hit the brakes ! Ffs. Never “lift” in a corner

@venningj @DaveyJohn_676 @KalimarAg @agleaderAP PH in H2O though @JamesPreuss, could be reading up to a full unit high compared to CaCl. Excellent trial though looking at responses. Also be interesting to see exchangeable cation levels if available?

@Howelly_Agro similar to hydrosmart.com.au science might support reduced scale on infrastructure for these type of applications,but can't really removed ions from solution, so salt has to remain- might help with burning? even sellers cant really explain a model of why they should work.

Long shot: but has any one done any true independent trials on water conditioners in irrigation? Fair investment to install, but if it can improve the efficiency of the saline water then it’ll pay.

@JP4TheNationals Thanks JP, anecdotal data is useful to a point, and this is what’s stopping me from putting it in the snake oil category currently, but data would help me to turn it into an investment decision.

@Howelly_Agro I've never been able to find one. Anecdotally they seem to work but none of the mobs selling them can provide data.

@freshy1973 Pretty challenging area to farm, the farmers in the Tailem to Cookes area are pretty resilient, adaptable and smart to make it work. There’s not a lot of forgiveness fo poor farming there.

I’ve found the best road in Tailem Bend…. The road out of here! Always found this part of the world very uninspiring

Plenty of new lentil growers across AUS, some excellent looking crops in WA. I've been thru Central Yorke Pen yesterday, amazing looking bulk considering the condensed growing season. These photos near Balaklava, SA. 145mm GSR with 27mm since Sep 1st. Messy crop, poor ARG control, but setting pods with nice seeds. I'm wondering how many unprofitable lentil paddocks there will be in SA and Vic, hopefully not many.
