If you can see the problem, then you can find the solution. Curious about energy production, government corruption and its profiteers.

The "world's largest" battery storage facility has been on fire at the Moss Landing power plant in Monterey County, CA for about 12 hours. The owner/operator @VistraCorp has not posted on X about safety concerns, evacuations, or highway closures. 💰🥇 politico.com/news/2025/01/1…

Will Thompson questions the legality of Birch Solar, LLC 300MWac to be located near Lima, Ohio. Read the Court's Power Siting Board Case 2023-1011. Even better...read his substack @jwthompson" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">substack.com/@jwthompson @pwrhungry

One of the best writers on utility scale solar in the USA. J.W. Thompson in Ohio. He successfully opposed an unscrupulous energy developer and won. He's a good egg. @jwthompson" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">substack.com/@jwthompson

@NYOpenGov This may be a drop in the bucket compared to NYSERDA and the Climate Action Council. Time will tell.....

PFAS may be in the anti-glare/anti-soil coating applied to surface glass of solar panels. PFAS is found in the protective plastic coating on electrical wires. Contamination of ground water and soil may increase on/near solar facilities. NYS was notified. drive.google.com/drive/folders/…

Is PFAS pollution from solar, wind, and battery energy resources seen as an unintended consequence or accepted risk?

Legislation to regulate PFAS contamination of soil and ground water from the solar energy industry may be slow. Luckily, Rep. Holly Cheeseman, R-East Lyme, Connecticut asks an important question to test wells that may have contamination. @PolicyEngineer insideinvestigator.org/bond-commissio…

@PolicyEngineer @pwrhungry @TheFrackingGuy Solar puts may profit from project underperformance and/or failure. Developers want you to believe solar is simple. Put up panels. Crank out electrons. Oak Hill Solar 1 and Oak Hill Solar 2 approved 2019. As of September 2024 still NOT constructed/operational. Follow the money.

It is, as the youngsters say, "cringe" for NY state government to have an energy czar chairing both NY's subsidy mill and one of the companies making money from that subsidy mill.

Solar, wind, and battery energy resources don't produced electricity as promised. Taxpayer dollars are used to diminish farmlands, industrialize rural communities that don't want expansive energy facilities, and destabilize the grid. #gonuclear

At this week's @housebudgetGOP hearing, I testified that the costs of Biden-Harris's government-dictated green energy policies 1) have been enormous so far 2) would have been catastrophic if not for resistance 3) will be apocalyptic if not stopped Here's every moment.
