@UKLabour @JimfromOldham Much more than it should - my Oldham office is closing and my daily commute will increase by 25 miles a day, therefore, my petrol and parking will increase. poverty and the further economic decline of the poorest towns…who wants to travel 2 hrs to work? 20 min walk, bus, train, tram? Then the same again to get home? Virtual pay decrease? Because of rising travel costs. Harmful to our children/families?!?

@JimfromOldham have you asked the question, in the House, why DWP are closing offices in areas like Oldham? Moving staff to more affluent areas or putting staff at risk of redundancy? Either adding to the effects of climate change, due to additional travel, contributing to child

@JimfromOldham as a Royton constituent-I’d like to hear your, your fellow local MP’s & Oldham council’s reaction to the announcement of the closure of Oldham BC by DWP. Moving staff from Oldham with a child poverty rate of over 5% to Stockport and Salford 0.3 & 1% respectively.
