I actually think my problem is that I really think the FPA was so much more interesting to explore than the empire. The idea of a flawed democracy fighting against the best possible autocracy is so interesting but they just completely dropped exploring that and what it means.

I always love this image of Tokyo. The view of Mt. Fuji in the background, the way the lines avoid the Imperial Palace, & how you can see the various subcentres. You might be thinking the network looks kind of small but this doesn't show the dozens of suburban railways, trams...
