@Toonbazza Yes, remember heading for an internet cafe myself to book another flight. Felt for those who were herded on to buses after postponement.

@milesstarforth Remember it well, the Internet cafes packed out as people scrambled to rearrange flights, hotels etc, only a fraction made it to the game the next day. I'll always remember Shola scoring at the Camp Nou!

Dug out these photos from Newcastle United's last visit to Barcelona in 2002, remembered for a 24-hour postponement and a Shola Ameobi goal. By the time I returned three years ago, the Nou Camp’s upper tier, where the away fans had been sat, was mostly gone. Who was there? #NUFC

@Steph_Herdman32 @milesstarforth I don’t remember much other that we were on the day trip organised by the club, early start, plenty of drink in the sun, then the rain came and also fell asleep in the airport and nearly missed the flight back too!

@milesstarforth I was there. If I remember rightly we didn’t know for sure the game would be played the next night, but we took a chance and stayed the extra 24 hours. Randomly met Alice Cooper in a tapas bar, as you do

@Steph_Herdman32 Nightmare! Was doing a colour piece from away end, and reported on what happened with people being bussed to airport from postponed game. It was a big story!

@milesstarforth Yeah. Our return flight was straight after the game. Got all the way up to our seats and then they announced it was off. Never been so gutted in my life!
