Any resident that wants to participate in the @CityofCT cash-for-power programme can now register to do so. Sell your excess solar PV to the City. Applications close 8th March. Cheaper single phase meters are still in the works. Online SSEG application platform also in the works.

Load shedding trends in South Afrifa from 2019 to 2023 to date. 2022 was a terrible year for load shedding, but 2023 is MUCH worse, with much higher levels of Stage 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 loadshedding.

Feedback from the industry is that @NERSA_ZA registration operations have ground to a halt, or it's just winter and the whole country has gone into hibernation. Most probably the former.

A drastic slowdown in @NERSA_ZA registrations in the month of May. Only 15 projects were registered, just over 24MW. 17MW Gas facility in Gauteng, the bulk of the registered capacity. 12 PV projects registered with a combined capacity of 7MW.
