Owning a "one of one" car sounds like a dream, until you live it I had a loud, bright yellow BMW F30 with an M3 kit, you don’t drive that kind of car quietly, you arrive. Everywhere I went, heads turned, at first, it felt good, I won’t lie. But slowly, it stopped feeling like attention… and started feeling like exposure. I had go somewhere, and people already knew I was there, not because they saw me, but because they saw the car. Guy, you dey this place abi? I just saw your car now now. That is when it hit me, I wasn't driving a car anymore, I was driving a location tag. Anywhere I pulled up, I was already announced, no more moving lowkey, no more random stops, hotels were the worst, before you even step inside, someone has snapped your car and sent it somewhere, you become popular… without choosing to be. And the scary part? you don't know who is watching,you don't know who is tracking your movements, you don't know who is just observing quietly. It stops being a flex, It starts feeling like exposure. I wasn't trying to be famous, but the car made that decision for me. So, I SOLD IT. Because sometimes, the louder your car… the louder your life becomes, and not everything loud is safe.
