Robert Mugabe would never have travelled to report to another President and explain himself in a choreographed kangaroo session like that one. Ibrahim Traore would never do that either 😂 But colonial clerks had to do it. It’s hard to be a colonial clerk.

@daddyhope I think we all would do the same if we were in his position. Ingori nguva nemukana zvasiyana. After all nobody really gives a dmn abt a "country" but rather their families. One man for himself, God for us all!

The guy who has shocked me is George Guvamatanga. From being the CEO of Barclays Bank to becoming one of the greatest thieves of public funds in the history of Zimbabwe is just crazy! If he were using the money to build local clinics, one would understand, but using it to buy Range Rovers for a string of girlfriends is just so embarrassing and cheap. As a former CEO of Barclays Bank Zimbabwe and a seasoned banker, one would expect him to uphold ethical standards and prioritise the well-being of the country. Being remembered in history as the guy who facilitated the deaths of thousands of Zimbabweans by being central to looting money meant for healthcare is quite an embarrassing epitaph.

Dear @PoliceZimbabwe Here is one of your officers receiving a bribe in exchange for releasing a vendor she had arrested. This was yesterday in Harare’s central business district. They target vendors, arrest them, then release them for a fee. The rot runs from top to bottom. Corruption in Zimbabwe, including bribery and abuse of power, is an ongoing issue that affects the the whole country. Unfortunately, this problem extends to law enforcement officers. This video highlights the detrimental effects of corruption on the justice system and society as a whole. Targeting vulnerable communities like vendors and exploiting them for financial gain not only perpetuates injustice but also erodes trust in the very institutions meant to protect citizens.

MY THOUGHT... 🇿🇼 ➡️ There is this theory about Zimbabwean opposition politics. I don't know if it's valid - I'll leave that for others to ponder... So ... you see, Morgan Tsvangirai was a trade unionist. He came from a background of hotheadedness, action and confrontation. ⚔️ As leader of the opposition, he was able to balance being a hothead with the steady, calm diplomacy of a politician. The result was a ZANU PF regime that was never too comfortable because, at any time the HOT-HEAD side of Tsvangirai could emerge, and he could send the youths to thunder up the streets. 🔥😅 That was a tool he kept in his back pocket, that made his opposition leadership an effective one. It maintained that 'fear of INSTABILITY' within the regime that prevented them from becoming too relaxed and too nefarious in their looting and disregard of law... That's partly why, in Tsvangirai's time, although there WAS looting, incidents of violence, arrests, etc - the country was still FUNCTIONAL ... and the courts, while biased - still FUNCTIONED, and parliament, while pressured - still FUNCTIONED and the regime of the time didn't just throw out large numbers of elected MPs! They wouldn't dare!! They would know that Tsvangirai would light up the streets!! 🧨 And roads and services, etc, while bad - were nowhere near as horrendous as they are NOW. 😑🙆🏾‍♂️ See ... When the lawyers TOOK OVER the opposition party/parties, things changed. 🔄 Look - these are courageous, patriotic and inspiring people who thirst for Zimbabwe to be free, and put their lives at RISK constantly. I have no fault with them. They do what they are able to do in a DIFFICULT political environment. 👍🏾 But ... here's what I'm looking at. These are officers of the court. 👨🏾‍⚖️ They are held to certain standards by their professional bodies and have to be careful what they SAY or do. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Lest they be disbarred, or otherwise censured. So their two main approaches to ATTEMPT to attain power can really, ordinarily, ONLY be through elections and courts... 🤷🏾‍♂️ Where Malaba awaits us... 😏 Is that not what we've seen? Past is prologue. 🔄 🤷🏾‍♂️ It is what it is, I guess. 🙂 My fear is that we may be STUCK INDEFINITELY in this untenable rut, in our struggle for a free Zimbabwe. 👥👥🇿🇼 Unless something changes... As it is, aside from the ongoing 'Geza Revolution' - ZANU PF are SO RELAXED and see absolutely nothing to worry about in the near or distant future. Theft, destruction and mass suffering are on a steadily increasing, cruise control. 🚀 I come in peace. 🙂

Is there a Zimbabwean drama with a better introduction than Vharazipi 1? “Pane vanhu vari kugeza here apo”?.🗣️ While at it, what’s your favorite Vharazipi line? Mine is “pa oh ndopatiri kutaurazve nhai mbuya”

@Ndwandwe28 @percymuzitau22 You guys keep saying good players must go to Europe, who will play in our leagues if if we keep shipping them out? And who said they all want to play in Europe? What if they are happy where they are? Don’t live your dreams through other people.
