Most adults are not worthy of any respect whatsoever. So may are thieves, liars, cheats, adulterers and generally just garbage.
Respect must be earned.

Bingo. Treat your family (teammates) with respect. But rookies, know your place in the pecking order.
I’m still old school. Vets should eat first. Rookies should be first to load bus, but vets can help. It’s the old phrase - ‘Respect your elders’.
