We're doing some impromptu maintenance on the NYC server in an effort to resolve its performance issue. NYC users won't have access for about an hour, others will get a notification that a server might be responding slowly.

A new day, but no change unfortunately. LucidLink: “Our teams worked on developing the process for service restoration all through the night. They will next test and begin the restoration process. We will provide the next status update by 8 am EST on Tuesday, April 30th.”

It’s been a while since there has been a disruption, but here we go: LucidLink is having some troubles, so using Drive might be not possible for all of you. This is quite out of our hands, but we’ll keep you updated as best as we can 🤞

I’d be especially bummed if it lost the incredible media re-linking features. It was probably the most impressive thing about the software.

I’ve been playing around with the @postlab_app beta, and really digging it.
But as someone who previously used Postlab to facilitate remote workflows with other editors off-site, I’m a bit nervous that this new version is removing this feature.
But maybe I’m mistaken?

Ok, so it took me a good four days of constantly thinking about it, but I finally worked out how @postlab_app does it's magic. @jsiegers is a genius.
I think the new PostLab will be a total game changer. I can imagine EVERY Final Cut Pro user installing it.

@Swoon_Jon @TristanDaviesTV We were not told that, instead we were encouraged to talk about eveything as much as we’d like - but not quote Apple on what was shared in the room. As with everything Apple, it’s all a bit vague but there’s quite some subtext when you’re in the room. That’s hard to convey here.

Apple has a plan for Final Cut Pro…for the next few months, AND the next 5-6 years.
They said "don't worry about the Aperture thing... it's not a thing" - Final Cut Pro won't go the way of Aperture, and be suddenly discontinued.
