Neither. Entitled boomers, already responsible for draining the public coffers for their free government benefits, just want more. They'll want more next year, too. The ones at the bottom of the income bracket that need the benefits SHOULD get them. The other half can pound sand.

The money was spent decades ago. I knew when I was a teenager in the 90's. How much more should the adults have known? Boomers kept voting for more spending. They will again next election. The math doesn't work and never has. "I'll be dead before that has to be paid back, so who cares" was and is the attitude

@PickEmLegend They didn't earn it. They spent it. They voted to spend their own tax dollars and the tax dollars of everyone that came after them. They called it "deficit spending". The math only ever worked out for them. That's also known as "entitled".

@whitacre107 agreed, I grew up around responsible boomers. Then I met the entitled wealthy retirees in Florida. They vote in larger numbers than the good ones did. The good ones allowed this to happen by not voting.
