That question was asked to me today by President Xi. I said, ‘I don’t talk about it.’” Trump also said, “On Taiwan, President Xi feels very strongly about it.” It’s clear China got the green light to move ahead, especially now that the U.S. is bogged down in the Iran war. Under Trump, our allies can’t trust us, and our adversaries don’t fear us.
