@Wordsofrizdom Journal it
Whether it’s a win or loss
I make it a lengthy journal process too to make sure I don’t just jump back in like an idiot

Most traders make their worst decisions right after a big win.
The dopamine is high.
The confidence feels justified.
The next setup looks obvious.
Experienced traders learned to pause here.
After a strong win, they don't immediately look for the next trade.
They step back.
Review what worked.
Let the emotional high settle.
Because overconfidence after success kills more accounts than fear after losses.
The best decision after a win is often no decision at all.
What do you do right after your best trades?

It is my 5th year in the business with FundingTraders
Prop Firms will only continue to flourish when:
1. Traders aim for consistent results on their accounts
2. Gamifying prop firms is strictly prohibited
Nowadays, prop firms are treated as get rich quick schemes by traders - they want to get that BIG payout while gambling accounts
The rise of reverse trading services, prop firm passing services continue to rise
And the detection for this activities are getting better and better
Soon, the industry will stabilize - and the arbitrage traders will cease to exist
English

The technology of prop firms to detect abuse is much more extensive than most prop traders think
We can 100% verify these cases (we are sure when we ban):
1. Group trading
2. Passing services
3. KYC frauds
4. Reverse trading
5. On the shelf EAs
We might miss some or detect it late
... But we will detect it and act upon it
Not the full evidence will be disclosed to the user to make sure the detection remains effective

@PropJoshD The best one is "my phone got stolen"
Heard it twice last week
We should write a book similar to Straight to Hell by John LeFevre

Multiple times in my prop firm career, a trader has taken a video of their mobile phone to show that the server is down (when it isn't) by unplugging their wifi after logging in and lowering the phone volume.
Its a common trick in order to get free punts on accounts.
I tested it out once and deleted the "frozen" trade but said "next time put a stop loss". They opened another yolo trade, and did the same thing claiming the server was down. But - I was watching the entire time, it wasn't. (This was MFF days).
Servers are easy to keep a track of and how someone disconnects from a server is also pretty easy to monitor on metatrader. The only thing more frequent than people doing "server dont work bro" complaints is the "my account was hacked" complaint. Again tested multiple times, the "hacked trades" and the trades on the fresh account were from the same CID. So obviously it wasn't hacked and the person making the claim was only doing so because of their own failure. Shameless.
Always do your due diligence before amplifying messages, some of them aren't worth amplifying, others need to be shouted from the rooftops.

@TradersConf I’ve seen fat people succeed in trading
I’ve seen fit people fail on trading
Although having discipline in one area is great
The discipline must also trickle down to actvities that makes you a good trader

@rob88_ft I love the order blocks, is it like an indicator or you zone it out yourself?

Common prop trader trap
Paid $5,000 for the account
Planned life around the payout
Mentally spent money not earned yet
So when a trade went red
it wasn’t just a loss
it was rent, freedom, the dream.
That pressure = tilt
Tilt = forcing trades
Forcing trades = blown accounts
Most prop traders don’t fail from risk
They fail from expectation
Spending money they don’t have
Chasing money they haven’t earned
