You can read the market with just technical analysis
You don’t really need fundamental analysis unless you’re a swing trader or there’s a big news event on that day
The only problem is that most people use ICT or other dumb chart patterns for their “technical analysis”
Things that have no basis in reality and were created by unprofitable course sellers looking to make a quick buck

Having fixed risk-to-reward targets is one of the dumbest things I’ve heard of
Seeing so many trading “mentors” on here recommending fixed 1:1RR or 1:3RR
But market conditions are always changing and the only way to profit consistently is by taking what the market is giving you
Some days I’ll take a 1:1 trade, others I’ll take a 1:7RR like I did last week
Every trade is different
So applying the same risk-to-reward on each one makes absolutely 0 sense
Idk how these guys even get students to believe that BS

Trading is a great way to make money
But you don’t want to rely on it forever
You’re not going to be as sharp when you’re 60 as you are in your 20s/30s
Put money into other things
I have a farm in Brazil, some real estate and most of my money is in good stocks that will continue to grow without much work on my end
Go hard in trading, make good money and let it compound
Then when your account is at a good level, start investing into other things
English

@TradersConf Yes trading is real but only few are consistently making money.
Saying „I trade ICT“ isnt really a strategy tho, more of a way to look at price behaviour.
Find a strategy that has real edge and execute it with discipline
Only way to make money in this game.
If you cant, quit

@JGMtrading Congratulations brother, long may it continue

$2.3 million in trading profits later and the thing that still trips me out the most
Is that it all started because I looked over at some random kid's laptop in class and asked "bro what are you doing"
One conversation changed everything for me
Always put yourself out there and talk to people - you never know where it’ll take you

“If you make so much from trading why do you sell a course?”
Maybe to make more money dumb ass?
Trading takes like 2-5 hours a day max to make money from it
Do you expect someone who was motivated enough to grind trading for years to just sit around and do nothing for the rest of the day?
Obviously not
Basketball players will make $20m+ a year and still do commercials, release their own products, invest in businesses - and no one says anything about that
Thinking motivated guys will just accept less for no real reason is dumb
