Think I'm experiencing my first 'paralysis by analysis' traders block. If that even exists. Ever since I got my first payout, it's been a down hill for me. I'm not blaming the market but myself. I dunno if I'm being too hard on myself but feels like I lost my edge over last few weeks. My SL gets hit first then original TP gets hit. That infuritates me more. I'd rather lose a trade because I was wrong than my original bias was right. Is it possible to overcome this?

LARPing is the best way to become a trader. For every trading session I wear a suit and a bald cap and pretend I’m Tom Hougaard. I try to imagine I’m him and make decisions that he would make. I started it as a joke but have made too much money trading like this so I do it for every trading session.

There is a literal down syndrome guy who I went to school with that’s involved in one of those forex mlm schemes and claims to make $10k a month from trading lmao

My uncle taught me how to trade and I’m way more successful than him with it now. Thought he would be proud of me but he became extremely jealous. Refuses to talk to me even at family gatherings, he will leave the room when I enter. I just want my mentor back..

Weed held me back for so many years. Once I stopped smoking, I started making money in the markets. That stuff keeps you slow and stupid - your trading will be so much better when you stop, trust me!

Got my first payouts ever in October 2025, made a little over $40k. Blew it all instantly, 85% of it on evals and resets. Fast forward to today, 0 money since, no payouts ever since, no job, and in debt ($2k). Do I quit? What am I supposed to do? This week alone I blew 3 accounts already. (Was 18 at the time, 19 now)

4 years and 100k in debt, I am 24 don't know any other thing than trading. I won't quit. No I am not an addict. Passed prop firms but failed funded. I gave it my life. When i look back I missed so many years and still not successful.

I broke up with my girlfriend so I can focus on my trading… I feel like she was just spending my money but not helping me make money but I miss her now lowkey tho it’s been a 2 days but I’m Up 6k on my account tho

Been trading stocks crypto options and futures , from 2019 lost everything there’ , found prop firms in 2024 , breached almost 25 accounts till today , no payout no reward. I think trading is not for me , time to leave this . Everything is back to zero . I have last 10k funded acc , that’s about to get breached last 10$ remaining . No hopes now . Every trade I took that goes in my opposite , either hunts my sl . Or I do overtrade everything is fucked . After thinking about this all , it’s best to leave this

My friend was making $20-40k/month from prop firms and was growing his personal account too. Never invested in any stocks, crypto - everything just went into his trading account. I don’t know why but he’s been consistently losing for the last 1.5 years and has lost pretty much everything because of it. Just a reminder to diversify your money.

I'm afraid to enter trades. I even skip good setups to avoid potential pain. I have a solid strategy for shorting small caps and a funded prop account, which I passed on the first try, with multiple payouts already withdrawn. I can't lose a single dollar, and yet I'm so risk-averse that I'm scared. Is this trading PTSD?

I got my first payout of $5k at the end of november 2025. Fast forward 3 and a half months later, I spent about $3k on blown prop firm accounts. Feeling very low right now, but I’ve never thought about giving up. I know I’ll get another payout which will eliminate those losses but the time it’s taking is killing me

Became profitable 3 years ago. For the last year I’ve been travelling around Hawaii in my van with my dog while trading when I can. This is the most important part about trading for me, I feel so free. I wake up, surf, do some trading then explore for the rest of the day. If you’re still trying to make it in trading don’t give up! It’s so worth it bro.

I’ve taught 2 friends how to trade. They’ve become profitable, pulling in like $3-15k a month from prop firms while I’m still not profitable. I have failed the last 37 challenges I’ve tried in a row. WTF do I even do now.

Trading gives you two things that most people will never have: Money AND time And if you're not using both of those to build something bigger than trading itself You're wasting the opportunity of a lifetime

When I was living in my truck working as a mechanic I would spend every night after work studying trading until I fell asleep Most nights I wanted to quit I had losing weeks that made me question everything But I kept going Because I knew if I could just get through the hard part - my life would change forever And it did Now I make $10,000s a month and travel the world The mindset you need? Accept that it's going to be hard, accept that you'll have losing streaks, but don't stop until you make it That's it
