@Polymarket The further we travel into the Information Age, the less we actually know. The more entangled in Social Networks we get, the more antisocial we become. The more Global societies becomes, the more isolated people get. My Great Oxymorons of the 21st century.

@FirstSquawk @jorgepup1 Illegal non domiciles not allowed to drive anymore. Only legal drivers=fewer trucks running. Rates are skyrocketing, but with fewer trucks.

@rannotic @FirstSquawk Engines used in portable generators parked outside your local data center. See CAT too. No highway compliant engine but they still make one for generators. Funny thing is, these sit idle 99% of time, with an occasional test-run.

@JDVance That’s why cops are told not to stand in front of running cars or shoot at moving cars. Because people panic and often make the wrong decision.

These people are incapable of not lying about this. "Side window"? You can see the photos of the car with bullet holes. The shots came from the front of the car because that's where the officer was standing when he was hit by the car. He is allowed to discharge his weapon in self defense.
Ryan Grim@ryangrim

Ok this is genuinely psychotic. Innocent? He shot an unarmed woman twice through a side window and then called her a “fuckin’ bitch,” let her bleed out, and fled the scene.

@JDVance He watched turning the wheel to the right as she put it in the drive. Maybe he shouldn’t have been holding his phone when he shot three times in the general vicinity of his partner. Reckless and undisciplined behavior she was stupid.

@JDVance His feet were positioned outside the left edge of the car when he took the first shot. He got bumped as she turned and drove past him, causing him to jostle the camera in his left hand. You and I have been bumped harder in a grocery store parking lot.

@JDVance Video shows he took three shots in less than one second. The third shot went thru open window. There’s no way he could’ve taken the first two shots from in front of the vehicle and then the third through the side window, all in less than one second.

@Timcast Why is ICE carrying a phone with left hand to video, while drawing weapon with right, then firing? All the while, still holding his phone? Without saying/shouting anything to driver? Into a moving car. While his partner is on the door handle. Bad police judgement & tactics.

@MickWest In what LEO training do they teach you hold your phone with left hand, draw weapon with right? Then watch her turn wheel hard right, then not yell “STOP!”, then shoot 5” from A pillar while partner is on drivers door? Then 2 more in moving car? Undisciplined, reckless.

@MickWest Is ICE trained to film with their iPhone in left hand while they draw weapon with right, then not give “STOP” order, then shoot from the corner of car (he watched her turn steering wheel away from him), then 2 more in open side window, then mutter “f-n b—“? Need to do better

@DiMartinoBooth @m3_melody There is a shortage of homes for sale at a reasonable price people want to buy. Young family won’t buy 70 year old baby boom house, now in bad neighborhood, that needs complete rebuild. Don’t care if it’s only $75k. And they can’t afford $4k mortgage on big suburban home yet.

Repeat after me: There’s NO shortage of homes (do NOT buy into some BS narrative crafted by nation’s biggest lobbyist) There IS a nasty disconnect between homes needed for today’s much smaller families & homes Boomers need to sell, which will be a rude awakening. cc @m3_melody
RepubliKing@RepubliKing

@DiMartinoBooth Housing shortage + lower interest rates = price increases to the point where we pay exactly the same per month as we do now, because the limiting factor is what we can pay. Need increased supply to decrease competition, only way to bring payments down.

@robbystarbuck @Timcast Maybe she recently had a bad experience with ICE? And she had 1 second to visually see him pull the gun and contemplate “is he going to shoot me for driving away?” Windshield bullet hole shows he was at the corner, and 2 shots thru side door window mean he was out of the way.

Very important info about the ICE shooting: The agent that shot Renee Good yesterday, as she drove toward him, had been dragged by a car over 300ft just 6 months ago by a man who had been charged with sex crimes against a child. This is a photo of him in the hospital. This happened one month after Tim Walz called ICE the modern day Gestapo. The agent had over 30 stitches, luckily escaping death. So being hit or dragged by a car wasn’t some theoretical event he had the luxury of Monday morning quarterbacking. He had ONE SECOND to make a judgement call with a car accelerating at him: Shoot to save my life or potentially die being run over or caught and dragged by this car? A very compelling argument can be made that Democrat politicians are to blame for both events here. In one, an illegal was radicalized to believe he could run from the "Gestapo" and likely believed the Walz Admin would protect him. In this one a woman radicalized by Dem politicians and media believed that she could impede law enforcement without consequence. She ended up dead as a result. The position Democrats are putting our ICE agents in is just objectively dangerous and evil.

US manufacturing jobs are still trending lower: The US manufacturing sector shed -5,000 jobs in November, marking its 7th consecutive monthly decline. Over this stretch, manufacturing employment has fallen by -67,000 jobs, to 12.7 million, the lowest since March 2022. Since January 2023, manufacturing jobs have declined in 20 out of 35 months. Meanwhile, the ISM Manufacturing Employment Index, a leading indicator for manufacturing jobs, has contracted for 10 straight months. This suggests manufacturing employment pressure is set to persist. The US manufacturing sector needs help.

@conorsen @DiMartinoBooth Agreed..20 yrs in ATL suburb… Data center buildout is still busy, but many 1mm sq ft DC’s near interstates with no tenants yet. Road building continues, tied to taxes with 1-3yr timelines. RE taxes have caught up to rest of country. Value prop of South is not what it once was.
