@instablog9ja I thought a serving military officer or civil servant is forbidden from siding any political party or endorsing a candidate. is it because Tinubu donates all his salary since he resumed office to the military?

Give Tinubu second term, Nigeria will be far better — Defence Minister praises the president’s reforms after 3 years
Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, has appealed to Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu for a second term, insisting that the country is already witnessing the impact of the president’s bold actions despite current economic hardships.
Speaking while reflecting on Tinubu’s three years in office, Musa said many of Nigeria’s deep-rooted problems were ignored by previous administrations, but the president has chosen to confront them head-on.
According to him, the painful realities Nigerians are currently facing are part of a difficult rebuilding process that will eventually produce positive results.
“If he could have done this in three years, imagine he has four or five additional years to finish,” Musa said.
He added that Tinubu inherited several unresolved issues and has taken courageous decisions many leaders avoided in the past.
“We need Nigerians to understand that a lot of things that were left out is what he’s taking. He’s taking very bold action, and when you take bold action, there’ll be difficulty at the beginning,” he stated.
Using a childbirth analogy to explain the country’s current struggles, the Defence Minister said the hardship Nigerians are enduring would eventually lead to a better future.
“It’s just like a woman that is pregnant. When she’s in labour, sometimes you might swear that that’ll be the last time she wants to give birth, but immediately she delivers, she’ll be joyful,” he said.
Musa urged citizens to remain patient and united behind the administration, expressing confidence that Nigeria would emerge stronger.
“So, all Nigerians should continue to partner together with the president, give him the second term, and I can assure you that Nigeria will be far, far better than how it is now,” he added.

@SadiqMaunde it's painful that some will still vote for TINUBU 2027 and his coming back will be to make the now middle class, poor. while the ones in power will be richer and gain more power leading to one party system or totalitarian.

@Seyonhundeyin1 When a candidate has absolutely nothing to offer the country, they resort to buying votes like a commodity. If you have to pay people to love you, it means your character and track record are completely bankrupt. Keep selling your future for crumbs

@Eyeofnigeria The real crime against humanity is watching people struggle to eat while telling them everything is fine.
A government should be judged by results, not slogans. Nigerians are living with the results every day.

@Benking443 We need to know why Kwankwaso followers are this much and loyal to his name and identity.
Like we need to experience why to love someone this much as a nation.

Now, let's flip the coin a bit. 😊
Bayo Onanuga asked the FG to prosecute VDM over the dissemination of a fake audio of president Tinubu.
Well, now that it has been proven that the fake video was not from VDM,
I hope Bayo Onanuga is now ready to face the punishment for false accusations and disseminating a fake audio of the president.
You know, no be who first call police dey win case.

English

@OgarEmmaOwogeka The police have the cyber-investigation tools (IP tracking, forensic analysis) to find out who created the AI voice note.
English

@OgarEmmaOwogeka With respect, Counselor, this analysis misses a core legal boundary. Vicarious liability is strictly a civil law doctrine, not criminal. In Nigerian criminal law, liability is entirely personal. you cannot arrest a person for a crime committed by a third-party social media page.
English

My stands still remain that VDM must be arrested and answer questions relating to the said video. Here is why;
First, he said multiple times that he is the owner of RATELS and has registered and trademark it in almost all categories. The source of the said video is believed to have originated from “RATEL TV”, a page that has been consistent in circulating almost all VDM videos since its creation. The pages is across all social media platforms and followers of the page are RATELS Members.
Second, the leader of the RATELS or what VDM describes as the “PRESIDENT” of the RATEL group, an association that is owned and controlled by him VDM, all their activities are sanctioned expressly or impliedly by VDM, therefore, denying the video alone does not remove him from liability, because he is the “PRINCIPAL” of the organization and is vicariously liable to but criminal and civil liabilities arising from the conduct of the group or members of that group, because they are always acting as the agent of their President (VDM).
Third, yes the video was fake and was made by a person controlling his RATELS pages and they have VDM authorities, either expressly or impliedly to be doing what they are posting. Therefore, the duty is on him to produce the maker of that video or face the consequences himself. A simple example of this position is, assuming that during a cleaning session of the Ratels, someone was injured by the negligence of the Ratels member, VDM will be held liable by law.
@aonanuga1956 was not wrong to call for his arrest, neither was anyone who supported the call for his arrest. Clearly, this fight is not a muscle fight, and VDM should be wise enough to start looking for the maker of the video and or produce him to the authorities or own up to the video as his. Coming online to make a video insulting people will not help him. @OfficialDSSNG should take not of this position.
You can’t mess around with everyone. You have the right to criticize the government and the President and call for good governance, but you must do so within the framework of the LAW.
Everyone must be properly guided!!

JUST IN: Presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, has called for legal action against social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VDM, for circulating an audio clip of a fabricated recording attributed to President Bola Tinubu.
English

@NigeriaStories It’s frustrating how some of us still refuse to call a spade a spade. Mr Bayo Onanuga clearly didn't do proper research before threatening legal action, and this hasty move is causing VDM emotional distress and he deserves to be compensated for the damage to his reputation.

VIDEO: Pastor Adeboye Cancels Planned Peaceful Protest Against Insecurity Crisis Because Remi Tinubu Belongs to RCCG — Church Member Odumayo Reveals parallelfactsnews.com/pastor-adeboye…

English

@Dannymasterp The law punishes proven crimes, not emotions. Insulting a public official may be rude, but without threats, defamation, or incitement, it’s not enough alone for criminal liability
English

For all of you saying the video was doctored with VDM's face.
My own is that even if the video is AI generated what stops him VDM from debunking it and letting the general public know it's fake 🤥
Instead he went on camera to start to abusing everybody and even called Mr Bayo Onuaga President Spokesman stuupit, that's too far fr.
Yet he didn't say anything about the video wether he did it or not. He has crossed his line it's time for him to face the law
