A Massachusetts Police Department has charged 17 people from across New England following a comprehensive investigation into a coordinated street takeover that endangered motorists and responding officers in October 2025. The incident occurred early Sunday, October 5th, 2025, when large crowds gathered at the intersection of North Main and Oak streets in Randolph. Vehicles performed drifting maneuvers and donuts in the roadway while participants blocked intersections to allow the stunts. Spectators surrounded the area, many recording videos for social media. When the first officer arrived, his cruiser was quickly surrounded by the crowd, preventing him from entering the intersection. Individuals swarmed the vehicle, striking it and blocking its path. Fireworks were ignited both on top of the cruiser and nearby in the street. Officers estimated nearly 100 people were in the roadway at the intersection.

JUST IN: Dallas police officer shoots 27-year-old suspect after he punched officer in the face during traffic stop At 2:02 a.m. Saturday morning, 27-year-old Jeremy Mays was first approached by Dallas police while walking along the interstate. Officers demanded him to get back into the SUV or face arrest. Just 13 minutes later, officers pulled over the vehicle Mays’ girlfriend was driving near Highland Park Village. During the traffic stop, Mays left the vehicle, hit the officers car, and then struck the officer in the face with a ring on his right hand, causing severe lacerations to the officer’s eyes. The officer then drew his weapon and fired twice, striking Mays once. Mays’ girlfriend fled the scene and is currently being sought by police. This man bought a lottery ticket on his way out of the grocery store, as he scratched it off he couldn’t believe his luck he just won $300. The ticket was a $30 ticket and he made all of his money back. He walked over to customer service who took the ticket and claimed he scanned it and put a post it on the ticket and put it in the drawer. He then tries to hand the man $5 as the prize and claims that’s what the ticket says he won. The man know you can’t win $5 on a $30 high prize ticket. He asks the man to scan it again and he refuses and claims $5 is what it shows. The man escalates it further and asks for a manager. The customer service rep finally scans it again and it showed $300 and the man finally gets his money he won. Do you really believe the ticket scanned as a $5 winner or was the customer service rep trying to finesse him out of his money?

He was searched when stopped and was found with 3000 in cash on his person. Moon knew exactly how much money he had and suspected Officer Henry Chapman of taking some of his money to the tune of 900 dollars. ​The bodycam footage later revealed the truth: Chapman had palmed the cash and stuffed it into the driver’s side door pocket of his patrol cruiser. ​ Officer Chapman was arrested by his own department within 6 hours of the incident. ​He resigned from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department the very next day. ​ In September 2024, Chapman entered an Alford Plea to felony embezzlement. UPDATE: Chris Ostroushko says that the backlash his family has been receiving for their actions last weekend has been “overwhelming” and “nonstop” He’s now “second guessing” living in the United States, because he’s unhappy with how negatively the public has reacted to him assaulting a woman on camera. He is in complete disbelief, stating that, "I've never had anything like this happen in my life".
