The wild thing about the "scandal" of the Air Canada CEO is that his crime was purely ideological, as enforced by politicians and media. He broke a "taboo" in a literal sense — something that wasn't of any practical importance, but had spiritual significance to the elite.

He must also undertake formal training on antisemitism, which B’nai Brith is prepared to facilitate, so that he understands the history of these tropes, the damage they cause, and the responsibility elected officials bear when they speak on matters touching Jewish safety and dignity. Leadership requires judgment. On this occasion, Wab Kinew showed a serious lack of it.

And decisions made now will shape how it can be invoked in the future - which in all likelihood, will be for more than a few days.

@MarkDoRichards @CanadianPolling I'm not sure why the civil justice groups acting as interveners didn't use the Bill of Rights. They're all familiar with it. And the court wasn't short of advice for changes to the regulations regarding the freezes, even though they didn't find them illegal.
