It is a HUGE tragedy. I opposed to Kramnik a lot, resulting in him blocking me. What he did was evil.
BUT, I advocate for a fair punishment, not revoking any titles. Achievements cannot be erased unless he got them unethically.
We shouldn't treat injustice with injustice.

@CptAncapistan My gripe with Celsius is that to be accurate enough for general use, you need to add a decimal point digit and in reality it's no less arbitrary than Fahrenheit is. The rest of the metric system is a lot less arbitrary than imperial units...

The 0-100 in Fahrenheit generally fits the range of what the temperature can be outside where humans live. It’s far superior for daily use.

@Songwriterfan1 @WesterDrive @CptAncapistan This has been tried after the french revolution. There are metric clocks with 10 hours a day and 100 min per hour etc. It was too hard to change because the entire world was using it. That is the difference to units of length and mass. Those were all over the place at the time.

@WesterDrive @CptAncapistan I will change to metric when Metricites quit using minutes and hours and weeks and years. Instead, they should only use 10-powers of seconds.

@CptAncapistan The US measuring units are based on the SI. For example, 1 yard is defined with the length of 0.9144 m. The documents are available at the NIST.
