Regardless of the outcome, Ole Miss is in a position to achieve its third season of 10+ wins in the last four years. Kiffin's second Ole Miss team in 2021 was the first 10-win regular season ever. The 2023 team broke the school record for 11 total wins in a season. A potential third 10-win team would give the Rebels their first three-out-of-four since the early 1960's. The last time that happened was in 1959, 1960 and then again in 1962. The common denominator is Ole Miss claiming national championships in each of those seasons (prior to the BCS and CFP era). @OleMissFB

@RGIII SEC bias still. Miami should be in over Bama 100%. The top SEC teams have already played! What is learned if 1/2 the field is SEC and 1/2 the games are rematches? Part of the reasoning for expanding was to get “other” teams / conferences involved and have a true Nat’l Champion.

I hope UGA beats Tennessee tonight and the Jackets beat NC State next weekend so it will give GA Tech the opportunity to beat three Top 10 Teams this Season, and set them up for a good Bowl Game. Also, it gives Tech to end the Season ranked, & allow them to start 2025 ranked.
