@playboyswervo There is a big difference. You failed to factor in basketball feel and IQ. Cam Thomas though a skilled offensive player doesnt have both. Acuff makes the game look easy not only for him but also for other players. The defensive playmaking sure looks rough but it can be hidden.
English

@NevaMiss24 I would be very wary of Darryn Peterson. No doubt he's the better fit due to his size and two way capability but as we learned from the AD and KP experience, the best fit would be someone who is available all the time.
English

Darius Acuff Jr is the best player John Calipari has ever coached. He’s the safest bet. We need offense and playmaking and he excels at that. Why would you worry about his defense when he’s going to be surrounded by Coop, PJ, Lively, and Gafford?
Mavs Lead@MavsLead
BE HONEST: If BOTH are available, who are you taking? Darius Acuff or Darryn Peterson?
English

@XPJHX1 They could have gotten 2 FRPs for Max and Naji during TDL but that window has closed.
English

@chipwilliamsjr He's modern day Dennis Rodman. If not for the injury concerns, he would be top 6 for me.
English

@KeithSmithNBA Teams will nitpick about his size and lack of athleticism. Plus the mere fact that there is great depth in the PG pool will mean he could be drafted in the 40s and 50s or even undrafted at all.
English

@BIGMEM12 The safest pick in the draft. He's gonna be a star in the league
English

Whichever GM gets the first pick and doesn’t pick him is gonna get fired on the spot man lmfao
BIGMEM12@BIGMEM12
OH MY GOODNESS AJ WTF???
English

Brayden Burries draft stock has been skyrocketing. Imagine if he ended up having a +4 or +5 wingspan? I can’t find anything on the internet about his wingspan. Does anyone know?

I created a chart to show how the top freshman guards stack up offensively against each other. Here are their shooting percentages for different shot types:

@venom1s Context matters. What was the occasion? Family reunion? She could have been surrounded by friends and relatives. Never assume anything based on a singular reaction

@LegionHoops @adam_talkshow @TheNBABase All because saving cap space for Dwight Howard. Quite idiotic when you can make the money work elsewhere as long as Dwight committed.
English

Mark Cuban says his biggest “miss” as an owner was passing on Giannis Antetokounmpo in the 2013 draft, per @adam_talkshow.
Cuban ended up overruling his fellow executives who loved Giannis, and traded the pick for Lucas Nogueira and cap space. (h/t @TheNBABase)

@onballcreator Quaintance would be at the top of this list if health was not an issue. In this list i would have Yaxel at the top followed by Hannes, Aday, Haugh, Morez, Swain, Krivas
English

In no particular order:
Morez Johnson
Aday Mara
Yaxel Lendeborg
Sergio De Larrea
Patrick Ngongba
Thomas Haugh
Jayden Quaintance
Hannes Steinbach
Cameron Carr
Dame Sarr
Motiejus Krivas
Dailyn Swain
Isaiah Evans
I know, not a very selective list.
But as a Celtics fan, I wouldn't mind seeing 1 (or more) of them get drafted by us this June
Hugo Gonzalez fan club@HugoGoatzalez
@onballcreator Thoughts on which prospects fit best with the Celtics ?
English

@deadboylyfee I would be very concerned with getting OG. You need topflight medical staff to get him healthy all season. Not to mention that the price for getting him out of NY would be very high.
English

@MavsFilmRoom I agree you only need to find the right pieces like the Hornets did with Kon etc
English

But just remember things can change fast in this league. With the right moves from Ricardi/Finley this summer, and assuming Coop keeps getting better they can get back on track. Glass half full

My team is so far away man 💔
English

@XPJHX1 he impressed alright but there are a lot of players with the same archetype in the draft, maybe even better. so it wouldnt hurt to evaluate them first.
English

@McdonaldLa83347 @XPJHX1 @Maverick_SZN BWill is a SG masquerading as PG. Acuff is a playmaker. He probably is the best lob passer in the draft. BWill is the better finisher but Acuff is better in all other areas. If the Mavs though manage tongrab a top 5 pick, i dont think they'll pick Acuff. Past 5 i think they will
English

@XPJHX1 @Maverick_SZN Can someone explain to me the difference between him and like a better bwill? Bc thats all I see. I see bwill who can shoot
English

BREAKING: The Dallas Mavericks are reportedly “very high” on Darius Acuff and “Like him a lot”. Sources say Dallas may take him even if they land the number one pick again.

English

@MavsFilmRoom This draft is soo deep there would still be a lot of talent who will be available in the second round and some will be undrafted
English

@TheChartClimber @Fullcourtpass Not necessarily. JB could end up getting traded to Milwaukee for Giannis. Far fetched? Yes because of his agent's and father's ties to the Knicks. But possible.
English

@Fullcourtpass That eliminates Knicks because of Jalen Brunson. Ask Karl Anthony Towns. I've said this for years; Brunson is scoring PG not a floor general. Brunson is a star but overrated. The reason why I didn't want Brunson with Julius Randle & RJ Barrett which they ultimately got traded.
English

Giannis Antetokounmpo prefers playing for an East Coast team since it is closer to Greece and doesn’t want to play with a ball-dominant lead guard, per @EricPincus
(bleacherreport.com/articles/25402…)

English

@KevinGraySports Kevin, they dont need players as good as PJ, Lively or Gafford. They just need to acquire players of the same archetype. Luka can elevate any player's game and put them in position to succeed. Am i confident that the Lakers can do that? Not really as long as pelinka is in charge
English

The Mavericks had Derrick Jones, Jr. a terrific POA defender, P.J. Washington a Swiss Army knife do it all, combo 3/4 forward who could guard positions 3-5 & Dereck Lively II or Daniel Gafford starting who were rim-running, lob threat shot blocking bigs around Luka & Kyrie…
NBACentral@TheDunkCentral
The Lakers believe they can succeed with a backcourt of Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves and are looking to build a Dallas 2.0–type roster, similar to what Luka had when he went to the Finals, per @SIChrisMannix (Via @RunItBackFDTV )
English

@baekpd1983 @PBAinsider You cant really consider him a bust without playing a single PBA game. The problem why he cant stick in the NBA is because of the lack of physicality. That wont be a problem in the PBA
