You’re only ever one tragedy from being on benefits. For me I had a partner, a beautiful family, then he got sick & died. I had 4 kids; they were 15yrs, 6yrs, 5yrs & 3yrs old. We were grieving, I couldn’t afford childcare, didn’t have a family to help me. It destroyed us. All /1

This just happened a few minutes ago, and my hands are still a little shaky. I was stuck in traffic, just minding my business, when a car full of men pulled up beside me. I trapped my first feral catand got it fixed on Wednesday! 🎉 The clinic thinks he's about 4 months old and advised me to release him the day after surgery.. I haven't released him yet because I feel incredibly guilty about bringing him back outside. I keep thinking I can socialize him since he's still young and lets me pet him. He's completely sent by me and hides in the corner of any bathroom we put him in. I know it's probably best to release him, but I feel terrible knowing he won't have the security, warmth, and love a house cat should have. Looking for reassurance! Any advice would be appreciated!

Who are these children and why can't their parents afford to feed them? If those same children are in after school clubs too, which sometimes provide cheap crap food alongside cheap crap care, when are these parents spending time with their small children? What is the wider implication for our children? Why should we be encouraging families to spend very little time together?

So parents who have longer journeys on public transport can settle their kids safely at school and then get on their way in time.

I haven’t had sex in almost 5 months now. My wife says she’s constantly exhausted from breastfeeding and the baby waking up every 2 hours. In college, my boyfriend cheated, and I broke up with him. Except he wouldn’t accept that. He followed me everywhere. Broke into my dorm and stood over my bed while I slept. I reported it to campus security, and they laughed and told me to not be so cold, the guy was having a hard time because I was such a heartbreaker. I called a male friend crying and he drove over and slept on my floor, and took me to the actual police,,,The police also dismissed it, asking me if I was really going to ruin this guy’s life just because he wasn’t handling a breakup well? Wasn’t I being dramatic? It was scary and I felt so helpless. I quickly found out that no one was going to take it seriously or help me. I did everything “right.”I had documentation. Timestamps.
