@FoursHead I’m not saying there is priority, but maybe limiting entries into each event will allow for a wider variety of clubs being able to enter. Maybe something to think about for next year. Many ways to skin a cat, but everyone wants to improve right?

@the_foad Hi James, all entries are accepted in the order in which they meet the entry criteria. There is no priority given to clubs with larger entries. There have been several large clubs who have missed out this year/previous years because they did not meet the entry criteria in time.

@fatsculler @FoursHead For instance, using Cambridge as an example, limiting them to “x” boats in Champ 4+ would open up space in other club events, the currently occupy 6 of 15 spaces. And almost 1/3 of places across Champ 4+ & 4-. Just my opinion but surely as a sport we want more clubs involved?

So GB Athletics yet to win a gold medal. If that stays it’ll be the 1st time since 1996 that they haven’t won at least 1 gold. I wonder if there will be the same hand-wringing and doom-mongering that we’ve seen in some parts about GB #Rowing

Take an athletic individual. 12 months full time with top coaches & after 12 months they need to perform at a level that at least looks like they could compete at the Olympics. Which is the hardest sport.... I'll go with gymnastics. By a mile.
