日本語だとこれだっていう諺が思いつかないけど……一長一短とか、不幸中の幸い、とかが近いかな。人間万事塞翁が馬という言葉もあります。人生何が良くて何が悪いか予測できないから一喜一憂するな、って感じ。

If it's the 'isekai' template then I'm sad to report it's more regrettable aspects are infesting publishing over here as well. Too many stories are made for the algorithm to easily find leading to less unique stories overall.
It's extra sad to me because the general idea of 'normal-ish main character goes to a whole new world' has practically infinite potential but we rarely see any of it explored. It's to the point I think AI is going to have some serious consequences on publishing in the near future.
In a way, it's freeing for me though, not having to chase popularity means not worrying so much about trends. Old prover in English- "Every cloud has a silver lining".

'Fantasy' is an odd genre in that rather than describing the type of story it describes a type of setting- and even that varies wildly.
Mystery, romance, adventure, etc. all tell you 'this is the kind of story' you're getting but in a fantasy setting you can have any or all of those types.
It's lead to the general impression of fantasy increasingly being defined by the algorithm and trends than anything else.

I’m noticing a whole lot of “based” women that just can’t ever shut up or stop demanding that men accept their feminist lifestyles. In this case, they all have trampstamps and take personal offense when you point out that, objectively, they correlate with mental illnesses.
