One of the great privileges of my career was getting to cover the ascendence of DIY, and the entirety of the NXT ‘Black and Gold’ era.
@CiampaWWE and @JohnnyGargano were among the first interviews I got to do at a WWE live event, video that’s sadly been lost to time.
Their matches against DIY in Brooklyn and Toronto remain among the best I’ve ever seen.
I can’t wait to see what comes next for Tommaso.

Still remember playing 1-2 no limit at @TurningStone casino. Sometimes driving 35 min to play with $60 in my pocket. A lot of the time I’d leave with no money, but I would always pick up my free @CardPlayerMedia magazine on the way out. Total full circle moment for me. Link to article in reply. I had a great talk with @PaulOresteen here and I recommend people to read it and the other interviews he's put out. We all have an obligation to support independent journalists that tell poker stories if we don't want to get upset when we realize our interests are co-opted by the operators that run most of the media industry.
