Story: Ogun Police officer extorted ₦3.5M from a foreigner and gave his boys ₦1k, they reported him. Officers on patrol stopped a Chinese international, Tham Yakajia and accused him of fraud. They searched his vehicle and found ₦250k. Yakajia panicked and settled them with ₦50k. The Inspector leading the patrol was arrested after his constable reported him to the Area Commander for defrauding and extorting a Chinese man for ₦50k and giving him only ₦1k. Inspector Babjide Ajayi and the Constables Solomon Obasa and Jelili Oyagbola were arrested the ₦50k recovered. This happened in Ogun state 12 December, 1994.
