I could never understand how Titans correlated with Tennessee. Tennessee is a great state, but their choice of football team name always seemed odd. Their college team took Volunteers which is kick ass, but they could have picked something better for their NFL team. Tennessee Terror. Tennessee Doubleshots (an ode to their whiskey and could also refer to a cowboy past), Tennessee Smoke (Smokey Mountains), Tennessee Gamblers (references history and I think the name of the Memphis USFL team loooong ago), ....I could go on... They aren't all good, but they're all better than Titans.

My friend encountered a well known politician in a men’s restroom. This man, who I won’t name, was obviously staring at my friend’s penis around the dividers at the urinal. My friend said “hey aren’t you Lindsay Graham?” and this man who I won’t name, got scared and left.

@jasonc_nc My family in rural TN literally have to drive 45 minutes and leave the county to go to a full grocery store. Dollar General for basic stuff saves tons of time and actually keeps some sales tax money in the local area.

Dollar General discourse is funny to me because anyone who actually lives near one is like “man I’m glad I don’t have to drive 25 minutes if I forget a couple basic things” whereas the person who doesn’t even live there is like “this is a pox upon rural Americans”.
