@rhysbmorgan Random bit of advice : I would recommend a team of two consisting of a subject specialist with a learning designer, who can if they want to both speak each other’s language and check their homework.

@whyndham It's people who have built and sold online courses. I have an outline of lessons and all I seem to get is "use my platform it's the best" just info seeking really

Who should I be following for building and launching an online course?

@rhysbmorgan Here in university–land, we don’t get much choice about the platform. Which tends to be Moodle. But we do care about pedagogy and learning experience quite a lot, along with, naturally, qualifications and outcomes. So fire away.

@rhysbmorgan E.g. I’ve got quite a bit of experience in this, but you wouldn’t know it from either of my accounts. And I didn’t learn here. On T I might rabbit on about the finer points of online learning or AI or something. But course building 101 I get from somewhere else.

@AdamRutherford The question may imply that this item is the thing being designed. However the design is focussed at a higher level, namely the production and packaging system (which does 100s of other products). Down here at pack level, this is the least worst option.

Sorry to harp on but another great thing we did when building GOV.UK, in collab with comms profession, was kill off logos and brands for govt departments and move to a single, simple identity. Departments used to spend so much on rebranding after these changes

@Wedge if it's working properly, it (CH) will survive for ages (weeks-months?) without fresh water being added to it. Don't run a bath though.

I’ve turned my water off for some minor plumbing work, and maybe I’m stupid but I’ve turned my heating off too because I assume it gets its water from the same source. I am cold.
