@SonicLorepost What? He could have found that out at any time. Media exists in the Sonic world and lots of people would be interested in confirming that Eggman's strongest soldier was dead.

Here Eggman says he didn’t find any body after the final battle in Forces. But when could he have searched? In IDW he wasn’t himself after that fight, and once he recovered he immediately started another plan. The Restoration searched the bodies and cleaned the battlefields.

@cosmicseternity Basically a friendly self-made fashion diva who immediately gets along with the main cast and works with them to save the world. Smarter than she lets on, independent, kind of a combat freak. Also a massive cheater in both fights we see her in, but everyone seems to forget that.

I really wish I could be excited for IDW being canon, but that would also mean all of this is canon too and that makes me very sad.

@robo_pea @STHComicsHourly Pretty much. Archie had a history of bad management and oversight, which is how Penders actually had legal standing to sue over his characters in the first place. The series was rebooted without his stuff at the start of the Unleashed arc, but Sega had soured on Archie by then.

@Em_i_ra @LORDCANTl You don't need to watch SATAM, but there's a lot of canon Archie comics that aren't in the main series. I'd recommend using the reading order from the Tumblr blog Thanks Ken Penders, since it lists every spin-off and tie-in you might miss otherwise.

@LORDCANTl I have only read IDW, but I am interested in Archie. (Mainly because I love Nicole's design and the Mega Man crossover) Should I watch SATAM or can I just jump in? (Sorry if this is random, post was in my for you page)
