@escott1028 I’ve been rooting for this team for over fifty years and what I’ve wanted, more than anything else, to see a GM come in with a plan of how to build a team and stick to that plan. I love what I’m seeing from Onsi.

@escott1028 @Sammy_Socialite I’m cautiously optimistic. But I’m also a pre-Trae fan. My first Hawks game had Mookie Blaylock, Diekembe Mutombo and Steve Smith as the main Hawks that I can remember from that team.

@escott1028 As a Hawks fan for the better part of the last 30 years, I think it's been a good one. Really solid draft, nice moves to add depth. Just disappointed we still don't have a true rim protector and the East as a whole is getting better.

@escott1028 As a Hawks fan since birth in 89- Onsi has the best plan of any GM I’ve seen of a Hawks GM yet. Let him keep cooking.

@escott1028 They have depth & defense now, but the East got a lot better. If they went into last season w this roster there would be more optimism. Financial flexibility & movable contracts is great, but until they reel in the big fish, it’s all for show, and we’ve yet to see them do that.

@escott1028 I’m in the middle….This is the team that could best fit with Trae so that’s sad but I love the defensive upside…we need a consistent wing scorer badly which is why it broke my heart that we couldn’t get Dybantsa…Good thing is we have a lot of trade capital for better or worse

@escott1028 The over 40 Hawks fans are tired of the bullshit too, but it's always been this way. Go Braves!
