@Asterion214 this isn’t one of those instances tho. whether i was reading a comic or watching a cbm, id expect a big battle between the heroes and villain. the comic subverts this by having Adrien win with only one hit to both of them while the film gives me exactly what i expected to happen

Watched Superman 2025 finally. Aggressively average film. Politically limp-dick, emotionally dull and visually washed out.. I didn't feel any love for the mythos in it. I feel bad for subjecting my girlfriend to that. I wish I showed her some Otto Binder and Curt Swan instead.
