@docwagmi This can evolve into a rarer condition called ocular neuropathic pain or corneal neuralgia from corneal subbasal nerve plexus damage (loss of nerve fiber density, tortosity, neuromas) leading to chronic pain (central sensitization.) Dr Pedram Hamrah = go to guy if pain persists!

5/n Red flags. Generally, Photokeratitis self-resolves in 2 days. If its persistent, you should definitely seek medical care. If you notice red flags like blurring of vision, severe pain, floaters, or flashes of light in the eye, definitely seek medical care earlier urgently.

Woke up in the middle of the night after Apefest with so much pain in my eyes that I had to go to the hospital. I've seen several tweets about it Doctor told me it was due to the UV from stage lights. I go to festivals often but have never experienced this I try to understand how it could happened, that almost 1000 people were made blind. It seems like the lamps where not safe, and come from AliExpress.😅 Anyone an idea how this could happen?

@gainzy222 @VitalikButerin it seems *cough* as if some people think adjudicating a sequence of historical actions that SBF took can also completely rationalize, justify, bargain and excuse away responsibility

Automatically downgrading every single thing SBF believed in is an error. It's important to actually think and figure out which things contributed to the fraud and which things didn't. Don't be the guy who would have tried to cancel vegetarianism in 1945.

as long as i'm math-poasting again, a thought experiment i periodically return to privately is thinking about what kind of mathematics aliens would invent, especially aliens living in a quite different physical environment, e.g. liquid or gaseous

@cburniske Hey, I was wondering if you run a trading group. My friend says he was added to your whatsapp group and was not sure if somebody is impersonating you or not.

@paraschopra A good struggle is stimulating and builds meaning and character. A lack of struggle creates boredom.

@blb_capital @StoicTrader Incredible book, highly fond of John Coates research and Paul glimchers.. Refreshing to see a trader who decided to leave the field to instead study and get a deeper understanding of the physiological driving mechanisms at play during speculative market participation.
