Interesting article and well written. Here’s the problem: we’ve never been in a time of such explosive technological innovation. There’s a non-zero probability that geometric agentic evolution will create an article similar to this in six months discussing WaMD… (Wetware as Med Device)… It just seems like everyone’s trying to catch lightning here. Like if we could slow down and pause and if we didn’t suffer from recently bias I think we could get a handle on what’s happening and what we should do about it. But by the time regulations like this coming to play regarding LLMs as medical devices, we might have achieved ASI. And if that happens, all bets are off. Still, I guess we can’t assume that so this is a great effort and certainly moves the ball forward in a human way. It’s definitely important in the right now. In six months… No idea.

Today the real challenge is less in the technical development and training of AI. It is shifting to applied AI and the management of these information systems. If done well, it will likely be AI and providers working together to enhance patient care and healthcare as a whole.

After 4 incredible years, today was my last day at Yuga Labs. 5 years ago I was a first-semester med school student who had just sold his car and put every last dollar into a Mutant Ape. Months later I got the call to join Yuga, and I never looked back. I went from a community member to driving social comms for @BoredApeYC, @OthersideMeta, @yugalabs, @MeebitsNFTs, @FvckingMeta, @Toptrader_xyz, and more. I wrote copy, produced assets, resolved what felt like thousands of support tickets, built sentiment decks, ran QA and bug triage across numerous activations. I dove into product research and management, working on PRDs, GTM plans, murderboards, Figma designs, Jira taskboards, the whole nine. Dug through various dApps, L1s/L2s, AI use-cases, differentiating factors, narratives, functions, incentives, among many other metrics. But what I'll carry with me most is the community. The Yuga community gave me a home in this industry, and I'm so grateful for every interaction, every event, every late night pushing to get things right for you all. To the Yuga team, thank you for taking a chance on a degen who bet everything on a jpeg. That bet changed my life. Web3 is my home and I'm not going far.
