@Mancunianway20 @GiftedMoney Read the line above that. WWE signed Hendry. Santana and Slater are going to be very clearly. They’ll help make stars and put them on NXT in big spots but only if it benefits them. Nobody who wants to stay in TNA itself gets that treatment.

@ATigerPicture @GiftedMoney Nowhere near to the amounts it did after the partnership. It would be that way without the partnership so what’s your point? Not making stars? Leon slater? Joe hendry? Mike Santana? That’s wrong.

“The WWE partnership is one sided as hell “ Okay… So let’s break that down. What exactly has WWE gotten out of this partnership? Trick Williams is a bigger star because of his run as TNA Champion but other than that what have they gotten? You know what TNAs received? More exposure. Higher attendance than they’ve had in a decade or more. Oh, and the biggest television deal they’ve had since Spike TV. So yes, you’re right. It is one sided. TNA is getting way more out of this deal than WWE is
Wings Of Soul 🙏@SpookySuplex

Carlos Silva needs to speak up this is making him the talent, and TNA look bad. The WWE partnership feels one-sided as hell. TNA needs to stop bending over backwards and start standing up for their team

I was a little worried about whether or not my #GWE list really added up overall. But I just saw a list that has Alex Shelley, Matt Sydal, Seth Rollins, Jevon Evens, Dolph Ziggler, and John Morrison in the top 10 and ahead of Cena. So I don't feel too bad about mine lol

@GiftedMoney If you’re arguing that Hendry wasn’t featured prominently on NXT then I have bridge to sell you. NXT guys beat TNA guys more often than not. How does that help the brand? I love TNA. I have since I was a kid. I hate watching them become a feeder system.

They don’t feature any TNA stars prominently. Hendry had an NXT title feud. So did Moose. Jordynne had a women’s title feud. They had Ash by Elegance win the TNA title on an NXT show. Santana is their champion and he’s been on the show like twice since October. Even during the feud with Trick, he only wrestled on the show 4 times. You’re just looking for stuff that isn’t there. NXT uses a few guys on their show (TNA gets way more guys on their show) and TNA got a television deal out of it that’s bigger than any deal they’ve had since Spike

They’ve signed 2 people out of all the talent they’ve put on their show. Kazarian has been on their show. So has AJ Francis. Kc Navarro. Elias. If you think WWE has eyes out for Frankie Kazarian then you’ve lost the plot. Half of the people they put on their show are people they’ve fired. So that excuse doesn’t hold much weight. Especially considering, as I’ve stated, they only signed 2 people and half the ones that “chose “ to leave TNA for AEW never even appeared on NXT as part of the partnership

@GiftedMoney Why is chose in quotes? TK holding people at gunpoint and making them join? Your last sentence is my point. If you’re not a chosen one you’re never on NXT and you have to lose to NXT people. THAT’S one sided. Look at Dani Luna!

@txtneckbreaker They would not carry Dwayne to anything. He would carry them. He’s a tremendous wrestler. That’s my whole point. You seem to be locked into the idea that he’s being carried in all these matches. He’s not. That’s our impasse.

@ATigerPicture And here we hit an impasse because if you think Cena and Dave could carry Dwayne to the same heights I simply disagree, that’s just silly

@GiftedMoney Who brought up AEW? This is not about them at all. But also “putting TNA talent on our show because we want to sign them and leaving off people we don’t” is different than “that talent chose to leave a company so we chose to sign them”

@ATigerPicture If you think TNA would’ve gotten their tv deal without WWE, I gotta bridge to sell you. Also, WWE has signed exactly 2 people from TNA since the partnership began over a year ago. AEW signed more then that in the month of February of this year

@txtneckbreaker To use your own words “if he was in Cena’s era” he would’ve had matches at the same quality level as him vs Foley or Austin just against guys like Cena or Batista because the Rock is a versatile performer. “Rock’s midcard work isn’t the same as his main event work” isn’t a gotcha

@txtneckbreaker (Iconic legends feels like a goal post move) Goldberg is not known for his in ring skill, Rock has a great match with him. Hurricane, Lance Storm, Ken Shamrock, X-Pac, all people not viewed on his level who have very fun matches with Rock

@TheLilShorty_ @GiftedMoney This was also true in the 2000s and they should do what they did then. Invest in a core of talented indie guys who want the consistent paycheck. Sign a couple vets if they’re willing. Have a unique identity! They were doing it under Scott D’Amore and it was working.

@ATigerPicture @GiftedMoney Thing with that it kinda hard to TNA to make stars when second they do try make stars & they go viral / Popular, 1 of the other 2 companies come trying to scoop them up. Since TNA can’t financially compete to retain talent from other 2 then what else can they do

@txtneckbreaker The exact words you said. The Rock’s really good matches are always against all time greats (not true), he’s only a product of the roster around him (not true), and he wouldn’t have as good matches in Cena’s era (not true)

@Switchblade97 No! That’s my point! It hinders growth. Theres no investment in TNA because anyone featured either originates in NXT or is going to go to NXT when their deal is up. It’s a feeder system. It’s ROH for WWE. And I would love for them to be something more or different.

@ATigerPicture TNA has to be very prudent with their expenditure. We still don't know how much they get from this deal. More eyeballs on the product doesn't mean over spending. and do you think WWE would want to poach their stars if they didn't feature them?

@TheLilShorty_ @GiftedMoney First of all, who brought up AEW? They’re not part of this convo. They only push and feature on NXT people they want to eventually sign. They have not made stars in TNA. There are no more TNA synonymous wrestlers. Just eventual WWE people.

@ATigerPicture @GiftedMoney Attendance was not and I watched TNA barely could fill a 500 seat arena before WWE partnership. AEW has poached 15+ TNA talent since old partnership til currently whereas WWE has only signed 2 TNA talent since then.

@VenomRiotUV @GiftedMoney Cmon. They got featured ONCE and in one match. They chose to sign with AEW, who didn’t have say in their booking prior. That’s not poaching. They featured Hendry prominently on NXT (often over their world champs) and wow what a shock he signed with WWE!

@ATigerPicture @GiftedMoney The inspiration got featured on WWE tv during the TNA partnership, and now they’re in ROH jail. So again, who is poaching who?

@Switchblade97 How have they been using that to help the talent? Their pay go up? They make any new stars? The use it to feature anyone who WWE doesn’t wanna sign away?

@txtneckbreaker @elliottswrstlin That’s a willful misreading. They’d look at it the same as they look at Rock’s actual midcard feuds from his time. And they’d look to Rock/Cena, Rock/Batista, Rock/HBK etc. the same as those and they would’ve been as good on his end because The Rock is an exceptional performer.

@VenomRiotUV @GiftedMoney WWE has direct control over who they feature from TNA and the ones they want to sign get all of that time. Grace, Hendry, Santana, Slater probably. AEW signs people when they leave. Maybe because WWE doesn’t feature them like they do other people!

@txtneckbreaker @elliottswrstlin The Rock could’ve easily had a good match with Carlito or Chris Masters or any of Cena’s other contemporaries. His run with Hurricane (who I’m not taking anything away from) proves he can make something from someone not seen as on his level. He was that good!
