You can now set the permission mode for coding tasks in Dispatch. We recommend using Auto mode for the safest and most seamless Dispatch experience but any of your allowed permissions are available. Note if you use Bypass Permissions you need to approve session start.

Day 79th of building PDF Editor & AI: Anti-Gravity Someone reverse-engineered the Claude Code binary. Found two bugs that silently break prompt caching — inflating API costs by 10-20x. BUG 1: If your conversation mentions billing, tokens, or Claude Code internals — the cache breaks on every single request. There's a hidden string replacement baked into the standalone binary targeting attribution codes. Your cache rebuilds from scratch each time. BUG 2: Every time you use --resume, the full cache rebuilds. One resume on a large conversation can cost $0.15 that should cost near zero. Fix for Bug 1: run Claude Code via npx instead of the standalone binary. Bug 2: no clean fix yet — introduced in v2.1.69. On a 500K token conversation, both bugs combined cost $0.20+ per request. If your usage has been burning faster than expected, this is probably why.

Day 78th of building PDF Editor & AI: Anti-Gravity Claude Code now has computer use. In one prompt, it can write code, launch the app, click through it, find the bug, fix it, and verify the fix. Available now on Pro and Max plans on macOS. Enable with /mcp. But there's a problem — a cache bug is inflating token costs 10-20x. One Max user hit 95% of their monthly quota in 20 minutes doing simple tasks. Anthropic labeled it top priority. Fix is coming. Workaround: use npx, skip --resume. The feature is real. The billing bug is real too.

Day 75th of building PDF Editor & AI: Anti-Gravity Someone built AI agents that literally walk around your Mac dock. It's called Lil Agents. Two characters — Bruce and Jazz — each have their own Claude session. Click one, a mini chat window opens. That's it. The tweet got 709K views and 11K likes in 4 days. Not because it solves a massive problem. Because it made people smile. That's the real lesson for builders — sometimes the thing that goes viral is the thing that's just genuinely fun to look at.

Day 74th of building PDF Editor & AI: Anti-Gravity Anthropic just quietly changed how Claude works. Your 5-hour session limit is the same. But during peak hours — it now burns faster. Weekdays, 5am–11am PT: You'll hit your limit sooner than before. ~7% of Pro users will feel this immediately. Heavy users. Builders. People running long sessions. The fix?
