@autumnrxnae @jtrebach I doomed an entire ward once as a patient by noting how quiet it had been. I wouldn't be suprised if this made it into my medical notes.

@jtrebach Rule #1 of the ER: Never, and I mean NEVER, ask 'who’s next' or use the 'Q' word (quiet). You summoned that third patient and the third patient was YOU. 😭

we joke in the ER that “chief complaints come in threes” so after two people came in after slipping/falling on ice i was like “okay who’s next” but a third never came in anyways i got off shift, walked to my car, and i

Americans broadly agree that only citizens should vote. The dispute is about the mechanism. The SAVE America Act does not simply ask voters to prove citizenship. It eliminates mail, online, DMV, and community-based registration. It requires birth certificates or passports to register. It imposes criminal liability on election clerks. Half of eligible Americans do not have those documents readily available. That is not a hypothetical barrier. That is the design. Calling opponents cheaters skips that entirely. It replaces a legitimate debate about methods with an accusation of criminal intent. It makes any good-faith objection to the bill's specific provisions indistinguishable from wanting to rig elections. That framing is not an argument. It is pressure to stop asking questions. And the White House amplifying it with 32,000 views on a Friday night tells you exactly what the strategy is.
Rapid Response 47@RapidResponse47

.@StephenM: We know why Democrats don't want the SAVE America Act — and it's because they want to CHEAT.

And the forms of ID needed to do these things aren’t accepted forms of identification under the SAVE America Act. If this was an actual voter ID bill, Republicans would ensure every eligible voter received a voter ID.
Mike Lee@SenMikeLee

Getting a job. Driving a car. Catching a flight. Opening a bank account. Attending the Democratic National Convention. Americans need ID for all of these things. Why not for voting in federal elections?

The "Headache" that kills in 24 hours.🧵 As a doctor, this is the one diagnosis that genuinely scares me. Bacterial Meningitis doesn't give you days to "wait and see." It gives you hours. By the time you realize it's not just a flu, it’s often too late. 👉Stop scrolling and memorize these 3 clinical red flags: 1. The Fused Neck: This isn't a "stiff muscle" from sleeping wrong. If you have a fever and literally cannot touch your chin to your chest - that is Nuchal Rigidity. It’s an emergency. Period. 2. The "Glass Test" Rash: If you see tiny purple pin-pricks on the skin, press a clear glass firmly against them. If the spots don't fade/disappear under the glass, your blood is leaking. That’s Septicemia. Run to the ER. 3. Agonizing Photophobia: It’s not just "bright lights are annoying." It’s a physical, painful wince at a smartphone screen or a bedside lamp. 👉How to actually stay safe? 1. Mask up in crowds: It’s a respiratory drop infection. If there’s an outbreak in your school/hostel, a mask is your best friend. 2. Stop sharing everything: Vapes, spoons, water bottles, cigarettes. If their saliva is on it, the bacteria is on it. 3. Hygiene: Wash your hands like your life depends on it. 4. Vaccines: Check your records for MenACWY/MenB when you have a minute. It’s the ultimate insurance policy.

Do these same 82% of parents understand that the tools to know what apps their children are downloading are already available to them??? The App Store parental control tools are very robust and allow parents to control what apps can be downloaded, when they can be use, time limits, in app purchases and more. The App Store Accountability Act - Kansas SB 372 - removes parental control and flexibility to adjust these controls for each child in your family (a 17 year old who drives and has a job has different needs than a 12 year old - SB 372 treats ALL minors exactly the same) PARENTS must step up and do their job. Government mandates are NOT parental empowerment and they do NOT protect children!
The Heartlander@HeartlanderNews

#Parents, do you know what phone apps your children are downloading? Most may not. That’s why 82% of #Kansas parents support Senate Bill 372, the App Store Accountability Act. Here's what it does for parents. #ksleg #ParentingWin heartlandernews.com/2026/03/20/why…

This is quite literally what Skynet does to infiltrate the human resistance with the T-800, T-850, and T-888 series Terminators, which are Cyberdyne Systems infiltrator units covered in bio-engineered living tissue, including skin, blood, and hair, over a metal endoskeleton.

Trump’s FCC waived a rule so a Trump ally’s broadcast company can reach 60% of US households. Between Nexstar and Sinclair Broadcasting, two of Trump’s allies will control 450 local stations, including news, in 95% of U.S. markets. Trump’s billionaire allies now control X, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, TikTok, Truth and Twitch. They own Fox News, CBS, CNN, WaPo, WSJ, NY Post and the majority of local news stations. This is by design. The news will be what Trump and his administration say it is.

Surgical scars aren't "huge wounds" why are people so disgusting about surgical scars
GACO🍒@G_AC_O

@gaming_radi But they’re deliberately posting pics of child characters with huge wounds on their bodies online just to push their point. Even most Japanese gore fans don’t openly do stuff like that.

@WolvenKiryu @LambrielVT The reason is simple: Being a child on the internet is now advantageous rather than a detriment. You get to say whatever you want and be taken seriously, yet if anyone fires back at you they're "beefing with a child".

Why are children so addicted to doxxing themselves😭 A while back, I had a kid come into stream with their first message going "I just got back from the waterpark!". I ignore it. Seeing that I ignored it, their SECOND message is "The waterpark I was at was (NAME), I live across the street from it!!" I can't remember EVER being that reckless with my info when I was younger. Has internet safety just disappeared, or do children yearn to publicly post their address?

Here is what’s really going on with regard to the funding stalemate in Congress. ICE agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens on the streets of Minneapolis. Democrats then said: before we write you another check, agree to the same rules every police department in America already follows. Judicial warrants before entering homes. Visible ID. Body cameras. No raids at schools and hospitals. We immediately pushed for votes to fund TSA, the Coast Guard, and FEMA. Republicans blocked it. We tried to fund FEMA alone. Republicans blocked that too. Their position was to fund ICE with no strings attached, or shut the whole thing down. So DHS shut down. Then yesterday, the White House sent a letter admitting we were right. But they still won’t agree to judicial warrants or to take the masks off, which means agents can still break down your door without a judge’s approval and you still can’t see their faces when they do it. We’ve been ready to fund your airport security since day one, not to mention Coast Guard, FEMA and the rest. Republicans chose to protect ICE from accountability instead. #FundDHSFreezeICE

Tomorrow we leave for Cuba, via Panama, bringing hundred of kilos of vital medicines to the island. An island being cruelly strangled by the USA for over 60 years, despite total international calls to stop. An embargo that's now killing Cubans. Support Cuba - the USA is evil.

I really wish more Americans were aware that the USPS is the only service - the ONLY one - that can reach every home in the country. All other services rely on them for "last mile" deliveries that these other (more expensive!) services refuse (or can't) deliver to!
