Not saying anything is going to happen but got told a few days ago United had internal conversations about Manu Kone and had talks with his agent recently (same agent as Tchouameni). Was told it's one to watch if Ederson falls through. Looks like Ederson is 100% off now. Other players have been discussed not just Kone.

Vivell has liked Kone for a while. Agoume is also liked by Vivell but not sure if we will pursue him now we have Santos but could be another name to watch.

I am viewing the midfield window like our ST window last summer. Ederson is like Delap, deal is off and that is likely a blessing. Manu Kone is the Sesko but Arsenal like him but they also like Bruno G (the Gyokeres) and if they can't get Bruno G they likely beat us to Kone. IDK if that makes sense but reminds me of the ST situation last summer. Ovbs not actually comparing a player of Bruno G's quality to Gyokeres football wise but I think if he goes Arsenal it opens the door for Kone to Man Utd. Because if Arsenal didn't get Gyokeres they would likely have signed Sesko.

Have got to feel sorry for Ederson was super close to going Atletico and they pulled out then looked like him to Man Utd was all done just for the deal to collapse.
